(Pov) Outside the part hall:
"Muya, I am a little scared."
"Why? Because of him? Benjamin can't be mad at you; he's all worked up because of Shelly, not you."
Wait, who is Shelly to him anyway? My curiosity finally gave way.
"Shelly is the poised girlfriend of Benjamin. She signs a contract every year with terms and conditions just to pose as his girlfriend. So she does everything he asks her; she means nothing more than a mere tool to him."
"Really? Why would she?"
"Her feelings for him were deep; she suggested being his girlfriend. When he said he doesn't do relationships, she pressed just to pose as one for the outside world. Benjamin set the terms of the contract, which she agreed to and signed. That's why Benjamin does not consider her."
