Kumogakure lost the 2 Tails and Genbu at the same time. It was more apt to say that Genbu just vanished out of nowhere and even the Shinobi stationed there didn't send anything back and there were no clues on the place where Genbu usually stayed.
Genbu was a huge turtle that had formed vegetation and habitat on its back, so it could be called a living island in every sense of the word.
Due to Genbu constantly moving about it was difficult for enemies to track its location. So Kumogakure always had shinobi stationed on the island.
It was not a stretch to say that Genbu was one of the most important assets to Kumo, it aided in training their Jinchuriki and was one of the reasons why Killer Bee their 8 Tails Jinchuriki was able to become a perfect Jinchuriki.
The training of Jinchuriki cannot be separated from Genbu, at the same time Genbu's use comes into play with the training of Jinchuriki.
So the problem here is ... Kumo lost both Genbu and their Jinchuriki. They now only had the 8 Tails which put a huge dent in their war potential.
Recently Killer Bee has been prohibited from leaving the village unsupervised which led to a lot of headaches among the higher-ups as Killer Bee would try to slip away any chance he would get.
And they have been quite tight-lipped about the matter of the missing jinchuriki and thankfully it has not been leaked for now but it's not sure how long the situation will persist.
It would be dangerous for Kumogakure if other Shinobi villages knew about them losing their Jinchuriki.
Currently, on the surface, it seems peaceful but there are undercurrents of conflicts happening all over the lands.
A small spark is enough to ignite a wildfire that would consume all the major villages in another war.
Kumo needs time to recuperate and maybe find the Two tails, but all attempts at finding any news have been futile which resulted in the Raikage having his usual fits of rage.
But Ay didn't blame the people who were looking for clues as they didn't even know where or what to look. They had zero clues to base their investigation on.
It was preposterous to think that such a huge turtle could disappear out of thin air. It was like it just vanished from existence leaving them helpless as this situation that was impossible.
Due to Genbu being on the sea, the situation was made much more difficult.
While Ay was rubbing his temple in frustration, the door to his office opened and a man wearing sunglasses sauntered in while bobbing his head up and down and moving his hands in exaggerated motions and mumbling what seemed to be rap verses.
"Yo- "
" B If I hear another word from your mouth, my fist will be impacting your face next " Ay said seriously while glaring at Bee who seemed to be ready to spit out his verses which he thought were slick.
Ay was not in the mood for what his brother called rap.
Bee closed his mouth and sauntered over to the chair opposite Ay and sat down while taking out a pocketbook and writing down something while nodding his head in thought.
But still Bee wouldn't be Bee if he listened.
" Ayo Ayo ~ don't give me this heat
Just take a chill pill and listen to my beat..... " ( I feel embarrassed writing this, I feel the impulse to Kill off B so that I wouldn't have to rap )
Veins popped on Ay's forehead and he took deep breaths to calm himself down, but maybe it was for the best that Bee came now as his bad mood had somehow calmed down due to Bee's idiotic energy being infectious.
" So..... no news ? " Bee asked Ay after he finished his performance amidst the glare of a fuming Ay.
Upon hearing Bee's words Ay calmed down immediately as his shoulders drooped down in depression as he let out a deep sigh in frustration.
" Don't worry bro, it has been only a few months let's keep up the search, maybe we will find some clues. And if the worse happens and we aren't able to find the 2 Tails it still doesn't mean that the other villages can defeat us easily." Bee said in a placating tone as he noticed the stress his brother had been enduring.
" Haah! You are right, if worst comes to worst we will just take out the secret weapon " Ay said in a determined tone as he felt a bit better by Bee's words.
He also knew what they were doing was a fruitless endeavour and it is more than likely that they would get negative results and all of this searching they have been doing would be in vain.
But they had no choice as Genbu was too important to Kumogakure...

Don't Gib the powerstones ... Because I will be focusing on a new fic for this month while the rest of the fics would be 1 ch a week for the coming month of April.
I decided to do a rotation basis where I would Focus on one fic for a month while slowing down the updates of the others.
After April I'll focus on another one and keep on rotating.
The New fic is a DxD one , you guys might have seen it on webnovel, DxD rebuilding a demonic clan from scratch or something like that.
Two people are already translating it and both have R18 tags to fool the thirsty readers like me , one has a little bit of smut while the other one is just straight up disappointing.
I got overcome with righteous fury and decided to do it myself just like Thanos.
But if you guys know Mr Beach then you know he doesn't do shitty chinese translations , I do not translate but I rewrite and add new plots if necessary.
So this one too you can expect something nice and ofcourse smut included 🦆.
Novel will be added in authors note so if you wanna throw your stones somewhere then throw it at that fic . If we get a good ranking then I'll upload that fic twice a day.
