"Sister-in-law, I'll come visit you again later."
"Stay and have lunch here before you leave," Zhan Se said, trying to keep her.
Honestly, having one more person here to keep her company for lunch and a chat would make the waiting time fly by quicker and wouldn't feel so unbearable.
But no matter what she said, Bao Qi insisted on leaving.
Perhaps fearing that she would overthink, she added another line before stepping out the door.
"Sister-in-law, it's not that I don't want to stay, but I have an important meeting this afternoon."
Knowing that Bao Qi was now in charge of the Group under Leng's name, Zhan Se smiled and teased her.
"Yes, I almost forgot, President Bao, my apologies!"
"Get out of here!" Bao Qi laughed heartily as she hugged her. "You know, sister-in-law, why does the title 'President Bao' sound like you're scolding me when it comes out of your mouth?"
"Not at all, absolutely not," Zhan Se affirmed warmly, taking her by the arm and walking her out.
