A sudden voice came from the nearby woods, and then, closely following that, two figures approached Basil Jaak from within the trees.
As soon as he heard the voice, Basil Jaak realized it was Derek; he had been concentrating on the fight so much that he had let his guard down about his surroundings, never expecting that these two had been watching the battle from the sidelines without him knowing!
"Basil Jaak, do you know who these two are?"
Walking up, Derek asked with a sly grin.
Their appearance alone meant nothing good. Basil Jaak cracked a smile, but chose not to answer directly: "No matter who they are, I was here cultivating, and these two came at me without a word, attacking as soon as they saw me, and they were clearly aiming to take my life with deadly moves. I was acting in self-defense when I killed them in return. As for their identities, I am not interested in knowing."
