Yetta was preparing to go back to the Secular World, and though Mandy and Viola were reluctant, there was no way around it.
The two prepared many things for Yetta and brought gifts for her parents and grandma. Of course, these gifts were all precious pills. It's believed once Yetta's parents and grandma take these pills, not only will their health improve, but their lifespan will be extended.
Basil didn't have much to prepare. Once he packed his things, he suddenly remembered that he was heading back to Earth, and Kitty and Bertha didn't know about it, which felt a bit inappropriate.
So, before leaving, Basil asked Viola to deliver letters to Kitty and Bertha for him, telling them that he went to the Six Islands and wouldn't return for a while, with a message for them to take care.
Once everything was arranged, Arm escorted Basil and Yetta on their final leg of the journey to the Mountain of Transmission, where Basil hugged Arm in a temporary farewell to his comrade.
