"Hmn, yes she's fine. No need to worry about that," a woman said as she peeked into the house.
She was currently on the phone with someone while looking at the morning view from her terrace. The sky was still quite dark, indicating that it was still dawn. But because of the different places they were in, the time they had was different.
"Yes, I'll make sure in a few months I'll come home... Take Amanda with me? Oh... Dad, you know that's not possible, right?"
"I know, but I really want us to be together again like when you were kids. Amanda, yourself and Ace sitting in front of me and having me read you a story..." said her father.
Hearing her father's request, Kylie felt heartbroken. But she could not grant it because of Amanda's current situation. She was sure Amanda wouldn't want her mom and dad to know she had a child without a father.
"Me too... I hope so, but you know Amanda is very busy. I'll try to discuss this with her first," Kylie replied as she sat down on the chair.
