I looked at him with a very serious countenance and did not speak for almost a minute. As the seconds ticked by, his face progressively looked even more pale due to a mix of nervousness and fear that there must be something wrong with him.
I am not trying to scare him on purpose. I was just trying to think of a way not to mention my first husband in the situation since I do not know if I will get another scolding just for mentioning him in this situation. I have had so many similar experiences that I could not help but be more thoughtful and cautious about what I say. No matter how multiple husband households are common in this world, it doesn't change the fact that men will always be jealous with other men in their wife's life.
