The three boys, compared to the couple who should be their parents and their younger sister were dressed worse than servants or slaves. The eldest of the three should be in his late teens and he was instructed to stand still in the middle of this crowded area while his two younger siblings were behind him.
The young man was a bit emaciated while his hands and feet were calloused from working for many years.
