"That's how it is. I'm sure you've noticed that your brother isn't what we would say, 'normal'. I'm also sure you know why."
Lisa was nervous. She never discussed her discovery with anyone. "I don't know what you're talking about, sir."
"You're not fooling me, Lisa Loud. A few weeks ago, I collected a blood sample from your brother, and what I discovered in it intrigued me. And believe me, it's hard to bury. My experiments are just hobbies to keep my mind busy, and I'm looking for something more challenging. And this is the challenge."
Venom pressed a button on his desk, and the wall behind it opened, revealing a large computer. This showed an amplification at the cellular level of Lincoln's blood. "I have detected a foreign substance that has merged with your brother's DNA at the molecular level. Unfortunately, I was unable to analyze the components because the sample was contaminated."
"As unbelievable as it sounds, you're the one who knows more about this than me. So tell me everything you know about this substance."
Lisa was shocked. The professor now knew that a substance had entered her brother's veins. So she had no choice but to tell him everything she knew.
"I call it (empowerment)"
"Empowerment?"
"Three years ago, I made the mistake of wanting to take the mentality of young people to a more mature level, so they would end this nonsense of great winter vacations."
"Sure, I heard about that."
"A boy who was blind due to an accident and did not have proper facilities for his education placed the city in the eyes of corporate philanthropists who poured their millions into the city. Who made it what it is today."
"Exactly. That day I tried some strong chemicals I got on the black market."
"What kind of chemicals were those?"
"I don't know that either."
"How do you not know?"
"You see. In 1948, in the New Mexico desert near where the supposed Roswell accident occurred, a tube filled with a mysterious liquid was found a few feet away in a small abandoned burrow."
"Unfortunately, they did not have the technology to analyze it, so it was stored in a vault until 2000."
"Tests were conducted, and it was found that depending on the particular mixture obtained, different results were obtained. Such as improvements in physical and intellectual abilities."
"But the tests were suspended because the material was unstable and unpredictable."
"It wasn't until 2019 that someone out of a fad, born into a certain social network, infiltrated Area 51 and stole the essence, along with documents that support the story. But he was only able to remove the bottle that he put up for sale on the Dark Web. I got it with money from the Science Syndicate."
After hearing the story, the story was more interesting to Venomous than ever. "You're telling me what. We're dealing with alien technology?"
Lisa nodded, a sign of confirmation.
"What mixture did you make?"
"A combination of the substance and some intellectual performance drugs."
"Hmm, that's interesting. I'll need a new sample of your brother's blood to analyze the substance further."
"I have a bag full of them."
"Excellent. Bring her in tomorrow. It will give me time to prepare everything I need to begin the investigation."
"Yes sir"
"Take this too." Venom gives Lisa a cell phone, just like the one he gave Lincoln. "This cell phone only communicates with me. Always keep it close."
"Oh, and one more thing. Before you go, stop by Room 22. Tell them to remove that annoying hiss."
"Of course, sir." Lisa felt insulted. But she was also annoyed by the hissing he was talking about.
Thus began Lisa's new life as part of the Venom Industries research team.
The next day, Lisa brought a bag of blood that she took from Lincoln while he was sleeping.
"There you are, Professor."
"Fine. Leave it on that machine." Venom points Lisa to a machine.
Lisa obeys and puts the bag inside the machine. They are immersed in white vapor and scanned to check for external contaminants.
The bag is 100% sterilized.
Then a needle is inserted into it, and it begins to take blood and store it in a capsule.
A small portion of this was drained into a test tube and set aside.
The rest was placed in a bowl.
Venom places the tube into a scanner connected to a computer. Who can see even the smallest particles of blood.
"Fascinating"
Lisa walks to the computer and is just as surprised as the professor. "I see it, and I can't believe it. Ah, I've reached the perfect osmosis."
"Do you know what this means? Dr. Loud."
"Matter merged at the atomic level with my brother."
Venom takes the largest bowl. "It will be difficult to distill it. But perhaps... Come with me, Doctor."
Lisa follows Venomous to a part of his lab where there is a wall with a keyboard. After entering the code, the wall opens. Inside was technology she had never seen before.
"What is this place?"
"Here I examine the speed force. These machines are capable of moving at impossible speeds. Here we can distill matter."
"It will work?"
"Let's find out." Venom passed the blood to another vessel. "This container is made of a highly resistant polymer alloy. Capable of maintaining its integrity at speeds of up to Mach 20."
"But wouldn't that speed make the machine overheat?"
"Logically yes. That's why I installed a cooling unit. Its components are covered with a friction-resistant alloy."
"surprising"
"Okay. Let's prove it." Venom placed the container on one of the machines. This was connected to a cylinder. Then a transparent dome covering the container descends.
Venom uses a code on a control panel, and the vial begins to spin.
