Dark Pov
As I enter I notice the place is covered in flood biomass I can still make out the walls but only just any longer and this place would just be biomass with that thought I keep my vigilance as this much biomass means swarms of flood even if they have no intelligence now once I get the key that will change.
As I continue through the biomass filled halls I come across some some flood but they were easily defeated as I go on the amount of flood increase and even with no intelligence if they are in large numbers they can still cause me issues with that thought I search for a room I can go in and search for sentinel lazers as I am down to my last magazine for both my smgs and my modified pistols thankfully there's a room on the left side of the hall that looks accessable with that thought I quickly make my way to room and enter.
What greats me is a room without biomass allowing me to see exactly what this room actually is and from the items laying on the many counters although different in appearance they give of the vibe of a lab but what's even more interesting is there is a vile being held by some sort of gripping device on the counter in the middle of the room the vial appears to have a green liquid with slight golden specks in if it was not for these golden specks I would think it's blood from a flood infected but the specks make me think otherwise "Destiny what was this lab used for" I think it's important because there is no biomass here and whatever they did here has to be the reason [ this lab was used to create away to prevent flood infection but it failed however it seems that it has an unexpected use it appears to to release a gas that the flood avoids however it is harmless so its safe for use] her response makes me realise this could be used to prevent flood from coming near me " Destiny did you take the production method for it while you were getting the schematic" i need to know this could help not only now but in future conflicts with the flood [ yes i got the data but the meterials required are rare and it may be difficult to acquire them] I sigh at her response but even if the ingredients are rare it's still worth it if I can eventually put the gas it produces on a planet so the planet will be safe from the flood with that's thought I approach the vial and put it into a compartment on my chest armour that was designed to hold fragile objects andbcheck if the gas can still escape which thankfully it does this should stop the flood from coming after me but i still need to survive the sentinels with that thought I look around for any weapons since they were researching flood there's no way they left it to chance and not have weapons here so I search around and after a little time a find a sentinel lazer in a cabinet at that was in the corner of the room.
After finally finding a weapon I put my smgs back on my waist and prepare myself I am relying on the vile to get past the flood but since it's been doing so for god knows how long I am not sure how much longer it will last just hope it will last long enough for me to get out of here otherwise it will be a nightmare to get out of here with that thought I walk to the exit of the room and enter the hallway again.
A/N that's it for this chapter hope you like it for those wondering why the Forerunners did not use the vial it's because this was the only one that they created and it was not what they intended to make so they never made more and by the time they made it the order to activate the halo rings via the ark will have already been given hense why I never mentioned Foreunner flood infected as they would have left to prepare for the activation anyway thanks for reading hope you like the chapter.
