In the Hasroth System you can see a few fleets of ships all from different mercenary groups flying around the system scanning everything in hopes of a clue as to what is stopping access to the Hoth system but no matter what they do they still have no idea how or why it's happening.
On what of the bridges on the larger ships a terminal is going off the officer at the terminal yells " sir theres a set of fleets heading this way through hyperspace" the leader of this group of mercenaries replys " it probably more groups of mercenaries wanting to collect the reward for finding out why the system of both it cut off" the officer looks back at the terminal thinks the captain is right until he sees where the fleets are coming from "sir they are coming from Hoth" hearing this the leader looks in shock thinking could it be the ones responsible for this entire situation before he could issue orders Darks fleet exits hyperspace.
Dark notice the large amount of small fleets consisting of mayby 4 ships at most before he issues the order to deploy a hyperspace and communication blocker that was designed by Red that stops ships from escaping a system while also blocking comunication long distance but not entering once by the time its deployed and activated the other fleets except the transport one have arrived seeing this Dark issues the order to leave no witnesses.
With this order all of Darks fleet open fire on the nearest ships to the the mercenaries try to leave the system only to find they can't while also being unable to send a message out they have to fight so the leaders all issue the orders to deploy all fighters to destroy those blockers receiving this order all fighters that all the mercenaries have are launched but their smaller ships cannot do much damage to the much larger ones that Darks fleets have that in the mercenaries opinion clearly breaks the Ruusan Reformation that was signed after the battle of Ruusan if Dark could hear what they were thinking he would only say that he did not sign it so why should he care.
The fighter of the mercenaries was intercepted by ships of Alice's fleet proving that her anti fighter ships are deadly to fighters as it rips the enemy fighters to pieces in mere seconds seeing this the mercenary leaders felt like crying thinking how can a ship be so effective against the fighters of more than 15 mercenary groups but they could only hold their breath as their ships were shot at they were not even putting up a fight none of their attacks did much as when a one of Darks sides ships shields went down it would retreat while the others offered cover .
Victor was having the time of his life at his ships tore through the ships of the mercenaries but he still remembered that Dark asked him to immobilize some ships for Red and the researchers to see if they could gain anything from the ships that could benefit them so he reluctantly orders some of the ships need to be immobilized to which the officers of his fleet reluctantly do as they seem to have become battle junkies just like their leader not that Dark minds it actually helps since they get on well with Victor this way.
The Alice and her fleet are doing better than Victor's thanks to her command ship steeling the energy of the enemys shields allowing for the cruisers to imobilize some ships while destroying the rest out of all of the fleets she is working the fastest due to all the support tech she has on her ships that literally render any resistance futile no fighter can approach her ships without getting shredded.
Philips fleet is taking a more invasion style destroying the shields then using electromagnetic missiles to temporarily disable the ship than sending troops to capture the ships which surprisingly works very well he has yet to lose a solder while taking 3 of the 8 ships of the coalition of mercenary fleets he is up against.
As for Lucy's fleet she uses her ships speed to scan the ships for weak point in both the shields and armour and focuses fire on these spots making it her attacks more effective than if she had fired normally also because her ships have increased speed the mercenaries are having a hard time hitting her ships as they can move to dodge the turbo lasers at a fast pace while she had still yet to launch a single one of her fighters Dark was sure that if she did it was game over Dark had red run simulation with the design and in the simulation all ships they currently had would be like paper against a swarm of about 50 of those fighters.
Jess and her fleet was just as her design had been intended her fleet was moving around the battle hitting ships before leaving looking for a new target her ships were extremely fast and effective making a quick attack before moving on not giving the mercenary ships time to react before she was already at a new target.
Dark on the other hand was straight into the fight his fleet was designed with Ballance and they were showing it they hit hard destroy all the smallest ship in incredible time while under constant fire from the other ships yet none of his ships had their shields go down his command ship even got close to a ship and used it's holding beam on a ship preventing it from avoiding the incoming torpedoes to it's engine immobilizing it the beam was a last minute addition as well as a test to see if it was a variable addition to his command ship and his Borg Cube cruisers and from this test it was.
As the battle went on the winner was evident and the mercenaries knew it so the leaders sent the ships other than their command ships on a suicide run trying to get at least one close enough to destroy the hyperspace blocker unfortunately those ship did not get far as they were destroyed before they got even close leaving only the leaders command ships and the immobilized ships left without much resistance the leader surrendered hoping that their lives will be spared seeing their surrender Dark had Philip send troops to the ships which unlike what the leaders hoped was really an execution squad Dark never planed to leave any survivors the same fate awaited those in the immobilized ships.
With the battle over the transport fleet that had arrived during the battle went straight to the star of the system and begun construction of the station and blocker while Dark had the immobilized ships repaired using sentinels before giving them a skeleton crew and sending them back to hoth for study to see if anything can be learned from the before they are disassembled for materials.
The station and blocker took as Dark had expected a week once it was up another commotion had spread throughout the galaxy another system had become unaccessible and all the mercenaries that had been sent to that system to investigate why Hoth was cut off had also disappeared these two events caused quite a commotion even in the republic senate as many representative worry that their home system will be next to be cut off.
Hego Damask II saw the new but as before he felt no threat from it so he just ignores it while telling his apprentice to do the same unless he can use it to sway more representative against the republican but warned him not to focus on the incidents too much what Hego did not know was that among those mercenaries was the ones that Sidious had hired to investigate behind his masters back hoping to find something that would help him in future to get rid of his master and take his place.
