Two weeks later, nothing out of the ordinary happened as Zach just continued to hunt for more Undead to level up while waiting for Ivan and his squad's good news. Making the Undead Battleground his safety point, he ordered Diablo to go look for silver-class monsters and it was only after he found one did he would move out from the base.
Right now, Zach could be found fighting against another silver-class Undead Knight in the middle of the forest. Looking closely, there were already several dead bodies of Undead around while Adam, Eve, Ursa, and Ursus could be found looking and waiting for him to complete as they had already finished the small fries.
For the past two weeks, Zach has come to realize that he needs to learn not to rely too much on assassination and that he needs to train more in his combat ability by not using the War Pistols but using different kinds of weapons like a sword, spear, axe, etc after he thought of a worst-case scenario in which he would be forced to fight an enemy head-on and not having enough experience would be fatal.
So, this time around, Zach had found a very suitable sparring partner, the Undead Knight whose fighting style greatly relies on close combat and to greatly help him improve his combat power, he decided to take off all his items aside from the unenhanced Sabre of Shadow. Despite having stripped a lot of additional stat points, he could still fight the Undead Knight with ease which brought him to an assumption that his stats might probably be higher than it.

Zach's saber and the Undead Knight's sword continue to clash with each other making a sharp metallic sound all over the place. Their swords sparked every time they collided as the impact was just too great and as if the two were some kind of a fair duel, both of them fought without using any active skills and just solely relied on their swordsmanship.
After some time, Zach has finally had enough of his training as he immediately looked for opportunity, or more like he opened up an opportunity for the Undead Knight to see. Letting his guard down, the Undead Knight took the bait as he swung his sword toward him without mercy but that was when he took the move by swinging his saber faster and cutting off his arm.
Without wasting any second, Zach didn't let the Undead Knight retreat as he swung his saber one more time and this time it finally ended seeing his sword already on the neck of it but since the one he was using wasn't enhanced, he exerted great force just to cut it and not before long, the Undead Knight's headless body fell on the ground.

Zach saw the notification window which he immediately put out as he grabbed the items that the Undead Knight had dropped though he no longer expected anything since almost all his items had pretty much already been replaced by Ultra Rare class after hunting four silver class monsters including the Undead Knight that he killed right now for the past two weeks.
With that, Adam, Eve, Ursa, and Ursus then come closer to him, or more like coming closer to the dead body of the Undead Knight however, something strange happened as Adam suddenly growled at the others which they growled softly in return as they strangely stay put.
Zach looked at it but he was no longer surprised as it was also the case every time he killed the silver class monsters. He has come to know that they like eating the cores that would be dropped from bronze and silver-class monsters, so he started giving the ones he got from that moment on.
Giving the Silver Core to Adam, Zach then just sits on the ground wanting to see his current status and see how many Free Attributable Stat Points he had accumulated now since he pretty much didn't bother looking at it as his stats were just too high.

"So, this is my stats without equipping items." Zach muttered while looking at the numbers. He thought that they really were reduced so much when he didn't wear one however, it was probably still high since he could still overwhelm a silver-class monster with it. With that, he then just equipped his items wanting to see how much it would change.

With that, Zach then looked at his inventory, especially at the items he had for the past two weeks. He has met two new variants of Undead namely an Undead Priest and an Undead Guardian, both of them were silver-class monsters, and they both dropped quite good items.

These are the most useful ones among the items that they dropped especially the two Job Class Scrolls. After having them, Zach has now 5 Rare Job Class Scrolls namely, Knight, Warrior, Archer, Assassin, and the Priest, and 2 Ultra Rare Job Class Scrolls which are the Shaman and now the Guardian. They were pretty good but Zach still hasn't decided to change his class as he wanted to look for something very suitable for him.
Meanwhile, the silver-class Undead Knight that he just killed earlier also dropped some items, and the most useful ones were the Knight's Belt and Knight's Helmet so he then just took out a number of Evolution Stones and evolved them to their highest rating.

Zach immediately put away the Knight's Helmet as he felt uncomfortable wearing them but it was not the case with the Knight's Belt as he immediately put them on after seeing the effect it would give.

"Great. I was only lef—" Before Zach could finish his words, his attention suddenly shifted toward his pets more specifically to Adam who started to shine while growling softly. He couldn't help but think that something must have happened after eating the Silver's Core so he immediately called on Diablo and asked him what was wrong with Adam.
"He is evolving." Diablo said while looking at Adam and was quite happy seeing that he is evolving into a silver-class monster as it would mean that he could better protect Zach with his newly acquired power.
"Evolving? I thought the requirement for evolution was to acquire three skills, but it clearly stated that Adam still had one." Zach was surprised after hearing Diablo but since some information was missing, he immediately asked him again.
"Adam must have experienced an enlightenment or probably he ate something to cause such evolution." Diablo replied since there was no other reason for what was happening as he was pretty sure that he was evolving.
"Enlightened? Eaten something? Well, aside from eating the corpse of the Undead around, I also started giving him Silver Cores which he and the others liked very much." Zach said upon thinking about what Diablo said.
"You gave him Silver Cores? No wonder Adam is evolving. I don't know what's the use of our cores to you but for us beasts and monsters, eating the core of other beasts or monsters would sometimes help us in our evolution." Diablo said after hearing what Zach just said.
"Really?!! Why didn't you say that earlier?!!" Zach was dumbfounded after hearing the words of Diablo since such information was greatly important knowing that he could duplicate everything infinitely. If what he said was true then he was greatly wasting time having his pets level up so they could evolve.
"You didn't ask about it, Master. Also, though eating cores was great, there was a risk of fighting other beasts and monsters, so it was still convenient to find a treasure like the Spirit Fruit in the Spirit Garden." Diablo replied since he had already tried it before. Also, in his case, eating cores is futile as the requirement to evolve to a Platinum Class was completely different.
"Hey, are you forgetting that I can duplicate anything? If you had told me about this sooner, all my pets would have already evolved by now." Zach said with an angry voice as he looked at Diablo seriously after hiding such information all this time. He wanted to hit him but stopped himself since he was already his pet.
"R-Right. Why did I forget about that?! Sorry, Master." Diablo suddenly woke up to realization after hearing Zach. With that, he then just immediately dropped his head down to the ground not wanting to be scolded for his mistake and fear that he would probably beat him up.
"Tsk." Zach said but he immediately let go of it as he looked carefully at Adam wanting to see the process of how a beast would go through an evolution. He also decided to evolve the others later once Adam was done. With that, he, Diablo, Eve, Ursa, and Ursus looked patiently at Adam on the sideline.
