In the deepest part of the winding cavern, Murphy came upon an area carved to resemble an "altar", where he saw a stone bed and a collection of items placed at its edge.
It was a complete set of armor, two weapons, a heavy shield, and a leather pouch bag containing other weapons.
In this altar area lay a Throne Wolf of such size as to be overgrown, appearing as the last Guardian. The skeleton of the Throne Wolf had weathered away, but it was not hard to tell that it was a "giant breed" within its species.
"It's the mount and hunting companion of the King of Bone Biting, whom the king affectionately called 'Benni'."
Triss whispered:
"This fellow was the Throne Wolf King of the Dark Mountain Range and the most trusted partner of the King of Bone Biting. To leave it here as well signifies that what the King of Bone Biting left behind is not merely his weapons and armor; there must be something else hidden here.
However, it must not be searched.
