A good machanic never leaves home without he's trusty tool kit. My primary focus was servicing the vending machine.. at long last something that I was good at.
Lucy was not as enthusiastic as I was, all she really did, was point out that she really was an odd piece of work.. by drawing on the floor with her metal finger. All joyful, rossie and oblivious.
Temptingly enough I started to wonder and question my current position, with each glance I directed towards Lucy a little flare of curiosity burnt. It was really the first time just stopped to admire her.
Whomever created her must have had others just like her, but again she has human parts.. is she a handy-man or a fire-man? Am really relating her humanity to that of an inanimate object. The machine then surprisingly went off, while I admired Lucy who was now scratching her scar.
My mind was getting way too destructed, so I decided to completely ignore her and turn behind "Hey chocolate boy, look what I can do! My special arm helps me grab thing that are really far away! Like this Fire! Fire! Long arm!", *Click! Zipp!! Click!*. The noises where tempting, but I was not going to give in.
"Chocolate boy.. You've made the happy mailman fall asleep. What's wrong with you? Oh he's just pooped out a gun.", Lucy said and for a second I wondered why, but it took me a full second to finally realize that a pistol had fallen out of the machine.
Seeing a gun on the floor was not in my cards and I'm positive it wasn't Lucy's either. The environment around me got heavier as the weapon filled my body witn unnecessary warmth causing sweat to run down the side of my face. Besides the hundreds of thousands of thoughts that were most definitely going to get me killed if even anyone linked me back to the gun! The hardest part of this unforseen event, was how I was going to hide it on my person before safely disposing.
Let with no choice I grabbed the gun put into the side of my pant as Lucy smiled giggled at me before running off. My mind was rattled. Maybe forever changed at this point. Each opportunity that slide my may seemed to make the craziest of left turn at the most unreasonable times. What ever the case, I was getting exhausted of all the crazy surprises.
