After some more talks, both of us registered for the Tag Team Tournament and we are scheduled to a Tournament that will be held on 4 pm in the Battle Dome.
Well, that is still 3 hours from now.
We get out from the Pokémon Center with all our Pokémons already fully healed.
Then I go to a date..... I mean, having a lunch together with Kotonoha on a family restaurant that also served delicious foods for our Pokémons.
We let out all of our friendly critters and let them choose whatever menus they wanted.
After our stomach is satisfied, we then hit the market and I sold all the wild Pokémons in my sack to get some quick cash.
Enough money to live well for an entire month.
And if we go live frugally, we can lengthen it to two more months.
I have no plan to do that though.
We will all go strong together, gather our wealth, and live well until the end.
With that in mind, I go along with Kotonoha and all of our Pokemons to hit our next destination, the so called unofficial Gym!
Just five minutes walk beyond the Town's Gate, we have not encountered a single wild Pokémon until we found a cave with some words carved on top of the entrance.
"Normal Gym.... Yup, this must be the place."
On the left and right side of the entrance hole, there are a tallied numbers carved on the wall.
On the left side, it reads " Win" with 98 strokes of line below it.
Guess that means he have been winning for 98 times.
On the right side however, there the word "Lose" with a single line stricken below it.
Huh? Does that means he is already lose once?
And by the bless of Mew, he have already battled 99 times now!
Guess my battle with him will be his last before he begins his Badge Hunting journey, huh?
I entered the cave along with Kotonoha, only Ghosteam and Shion is out as our "escort".
The cave is quite well lit with a Sentret using Flash to light up the dark place.
Contrary to our expectation, there are quite a lot of people inside this cave.
All of those people are either standing or sitting around a wide, circular platform in the middle of the cave.
They are talking in a hushed voice, the topic is varied from wondering who will be the 100th challenger of this "Badgeless Gym" to reminiscing about the first and only time their "Gym Leader" is defeated by a Trainer from another Town.
All of the discussion came to a halt as some people noticed our entrance.
And it didn't took long before everyone inside the cave is aware of our presence.
There is someone who is sitting on a boulder that is located right in the middle of the opposite side of the rings from our direction.
He is just sitting there, hands crossed in front of his broad chest that is clearly packed with solid muscle and his that is closed just before now opened as he let out a confident smile like those CEO in urban novels.
He is acting so coolly like he is an important character and not just a side character that only appeared for one or two episodes in the anime.
"Welcome to my Unofficial Gym, my name is Lorman and I am ...." The cool man is standing regally like a newly crowned king and give us a speech that I believe he have rehearsed it 99 times before.
"Let me guess, a Normal Type Trainer?" So, being a good people I am, I gives him some rest and cut his talk so that he can save his breath.
"... How do you know? How did everyone know!?" He asked me in a loud, overlt dramatic voice.
Wow, if this is in my former world, this guy would surely be roped by the drama producers, or maybe he can become a renowned drama club member in his school?
But seriously? Are you really asking this? Surely you must have taken a look at your own name, right?
Lorman, Normal, meh, your name is clearly just an amalgam.
I wonder if his parents are Normal Pokémon Maniac?

After some little more time, he make a cough and go back to his persona as a dignified, yet stil unofficial, Gym Leader.
"Ahem ahem, I take it that one of you want to challenge me? I presume it is the lady over there?" He asked like a true gentleman while pointing towards me.
Lady? I guess my cool beauty have trapped him.
Smiling sweetly like an angel, I answered him with a yes.
To which Shion and Kasumi which stayed behind me rolled their eyes and Kotonoha just look at our banter with curiousity.
And with a little more chit chat, we begin our battle!
I and Shion stand on the opposite side of my opponent while Kotonoha and Kasumi stand aside to watch from the sidelines.
The Battle will be going in a Standard Gym Format in this World.
Both Trainers will select up to 3 Pokémons among their Team and battle 1 vs 1 until one side is winning by defeating all 3 of their opponent's Pokémons.

Finally, it is the Unofficial Gym that I have planned to make even before I started to write this novel!
I plan this to be a warm up for our protagonist for the Official Gym Battle that he will face from now on.
What do you think about me using the Normal Type Pokémon that is considered to be the weakest type? (Even though they are only weak against one type, the Fighting Type. Oh, they also have a love and hate relationship with Ghost Type as they both deals 0 damage to each others.)
