"What the?!?" Tianxin stared at Chen Yiran in horror, her mouth agape, "What did you say??"
"We missed the exit," Chen Yiran responded with an eerily calm demeanor.
"What do we do??" Tianxin sat up straight, her face a picture of despair as she looked out of the window at the passing scenery.
"I already got off at the next exit, then got back on the highway, and now we're heading back to the previous exit," Chen Yiran explained, his face steady and his pulse unmoved.
"..." Tianxin felt as if there were tiny stars spinning around her head. The next exit, the one after that, and then back to the previous exit... she was completely lost, okay??
"Look, it's that exit up there. We can get off," Chen Yiran pointed out the exit ahead with a relaxed air, flashing Tianxin a smile.
