The Blue Songlympics competition is about to begin, and the opera group contestants are warming up their voices in their own ways, as the opera group competition is the opening event of this Songlympic Games, covering quite a few categories:
Men's opera solo.
Women's opera solo.
Men's opera duet.
Women's opera duet.
Mixed quartet.
Mixed sextet.
The so-called 'duet' is one of the forms of vocal music performance, referring to two or more performers singing the same piece of music, each according to their own voice part. It can be divided into duets, trios, quartets, up to sextets, based on the number of parts or performers. Certainly, there could also be trios, quintets, and the like if expanded arbitrarily, but that would give opera an overly significant proportion of gold medals, and so limitations have been set.
