Feeling Zheng Haoyu's gaze, Luoz held a finger to his lips in a sign for silence. Zheng Haoyu nodded, did not go any forward, simply stood still, quietly watching her, until Su Nian completely fell asleep. Luoz gently draped a thin blanket over her outstretched hand, gestured to Zheng Haoyu, and the two of them withdrew together.
Zheng Haoyu slightly curved his lips in amusement, he hadn't expected that he would have such an understanding with this formidable rival in love one day.
Looking back at Su Nian, Zheng Haoyu finally closed the room door and his brows furrowed accordingly. He had known before that Su Nian was afraid of snakes, but he had never taken it to heart. After all, one hardly saw snakes in the city, and he never thought that Su Nian would fear snakes to such an extent.
"I'm sorry. I was too excited just now and lost my temper with you." Luoz apologized elegantly.
Zheng Haoyu nodded solemnly, unusually not being sarcastic to Luoz, "It's fine."
