I read the book for a while and learned a lot of plants and medicinal herbs. I then placed back the book where it belongs and gave the mission request to Sistina.
"Request accepted. Oh, one thing to note. This is a repeat quest. Repeat quests can be completed more than once. That means you can gather as much of this Dew Grass as you can."
"Oh? So if i get thirty of this Dew Grass, i completed the mission three times then?"
"Yes. That is the case. I recommend that you get the slime cores mission request as well. Since both the Dew Grass and the slimes can be found in the plains."
"I see. Let me get the request then."
I went to the request board to get the slime cores request and went back to Sistina.
"This slime core request is also a repeat request, right?"
"Yes. Good luck, sir."
"Thank you."
I then went out of town to go back to the plains. As i walk, Travy's voice echoed once more.
"Completing requests from the Adventurer's Guild can earn Adventure Level Experience. Since you accepted an F-Rank request, you can earn 5 Adventure Level Experience per request."
Oh? Does that also applies with repeat requests?
"Yes."
After half an hour of walking, I reached the Plains once more.
Travy, Can I identify the surroundings with [Appraisal]?
"Yes. It is possible. I recommend that you keep leveling up your appraisal to level it up."
Oh? Then let me use it then. [Appraisal]
The radius of the appraisal seems to be only 10 meters. Grass, grass, grass, oh. Found the Dew Grass.
The [Appraisal] is really convenient. I can easily spot the dew grass with it. I keep walking to find the Dew Grasses and killed some slimes as well, around 7 of them.
I keep looking for Dew Grasses for an hour and a half. So far, I got around 35 of them and also killed 13 slimes as well. The total was around 40 Dew Grasses and 20 slime cores. Each Dew Grass can give me 50 bronze coins and each Slime Cores can give me 20 bronze coins. So the total was around 2400 bronze coins or 24 copper coins. I decided to end it and continue tomorrow. I started walking back to Roste Town to complete the request, though I keep activating my [Appraisal] to see if i can find some extra Dew Grasses and Slimes. As I keep walking, I found something on my [Appraisal]
"Hm? This is... Moon Dew Grass?"
I read it on the library and this seems to fetch a high price, around 10 times the price of a normal Dew grass. And there's four of them here... Is this what you call 'Beginner's Luck'?
I grabbed the Moon Dew Grass and proceed to go back to Roste. The guard I met earlier was still there.
"Identification Card please."
"Here you go."
The guard checks my Guild Card.
"So your name is Artorius. Getting back from your first quest I assume?"
"Yes. It is as you say."
"Let me introduce myself then. I'm Gard, a gatekeeper in the West Gate. Nice to meet you, Art."
Art? He gave me a nickname but I don't mind.
"Nice to meet you too, Sir Gard."
Gard laughs softly.
"You can go inside then."
"Thank you."
I went to the Adventurer's Guild once more and Sistina was still there.
"Oh, Sir Artorius. Welcome back. Did it go well?"
"Yes. I got a lot actually."
"Oya? That sounds promising. Can I check it then?"
"Sure."
I grabbed the ingredients from my back, though I use the [Inventory] to pretend to that the materials are from my bag.
"Wow. That's a lot of Dew Grass and Slime Cores. Let me count it then."
Sistina proceeds to count the Dew Grasses and Slime Cores.
"41 Dew Grasses and 22 Slime cores. That's a total of six request."
"By the way, do you also buy some Moon Dew Grass?"
"Yes. There's a request for that as well. Around 5 copper coins each. Did you get some?"
"Yeah. Around 4 of them."
"What?! Is that true? Can I see it?!"
I grabbed the Moon Dew Grasses and gave it to her and she appraised it carefully. Though I say appraised, it wasn't actually like my skill [Appraisal]. She just looks at the Moon Dew Grass and assess it if it's actually the real deal.
"It really is Moon Dew Grass. I'm impressed by your beginner's luck. That means 4 more requests finished. That's a total of 10 requests completed."
"10 requests? That means I will rank up, right?"
"Yes. That's the case. Can I get your card please?"
"Sure."
I gave her my Guild Card and she put it in a printer like machine. The Black Card turned into a bronze card.
"Congratulations! You are now E-rank. A rookie that ranked up in his first day is pretty amazing. You should be proud, Sir Artorius!"
"Thank you."
"The total payment is 44 copper coins and 90 bronze coins."
"Thank you. I'll go back tomorrow."
"Yes. See you tomorrow, Sir Artorius!"
Sistina smiled cheerfully. I left the Adventurer's Guild and find some place like an inn to rest for the day.
I found an inn just a hundred meters from the Guild and talk to the receptionist there.
"A new face. Hello there, Sir. Do you want to buy a room?"
"Yes. How much is it?"
"1 bronze coin per night. An additional bronze coin for dinner and breakfast."
"I see. Then three nights with meals then."
I gave the receptionist six bronze coins and she have me a key.
"Thank you. Your room is besides the stairs on the second floor. Please enjoy your stay. The dinner will be ready 2 hours from now."
I then headed to my room and laid down in bed to rest for a bit. I checked the [Menu] to see my stats now.

Beginner's Luck? (New)
Skill Points: 6 (New!)
I leveled up 4 times. There are a lot of things I got. Luck? That's a new one. I guess I got it from my new title [Beginner's Luck]
Beginner's Luck: Luck increased by 20.
That's really the case. How about the [Foraging] Skill?
Foraging Level 4: 10/40
Herbs, Mushrooms, Medicinal Herbs, Fruits, and Vegetables' quality is increased by 4%
Oh. That sounds nice. And the title [Newbie Adventurer] became [Niche Adventurer]
Niche Adventurer: Gives 10% more [Status] experience when defeating monsters.
From 5% to 10% sounds nice. Leveling up faster is a good thing like in games. And there's also a new one called [Skill Points]. Travy, where can I spend this points?
"You can spend [Skill Points] in the [Skill Shop]. You can learn new passive skills and active skills by buying them using your [Skill Points].
I see. But all of these skills can be learned without buying them, right?
"Yes. You can learn skills without buying it in the [Skill Shop]."
Hmm... Let me open the [Skill Shop] to see the list of skills.
I opened the skill shop and so far, there are only 10 skills in the list.
Skill Shop:
Active Skills:
Taunt: 10 points
Dash: 10 points
Fireball: 15 points.
Basic Heal: 10 points
Boost Strength: 10 points
Passive Skills:
Magic: 20 points
Archery: 20 points
Alchemy: 20 points
Blacksmithing: 20 points
Leather crafting: 20 points
This is the list so far. all of them are pretty good. Passive skills are a bit expensive from active skills but, I think it's worth the price later if i leveled them up. For now, I'll try to save my points for [Basic Heal]. But I think it can be learned in a library. Books about introduction of magic should be there.
Hmm... I should ask the receptionist if there is a library in this town later.
Two hours had passed and I went down to eat dinner. The waitress gave me the food and I eat it. The food was normal but since it's a normal inn, its to be expected. The bread was a bit hard, but just dip it in a creamy soup then it will be a bit softer. The skewers is also normal. I expected the meat to be tough but its decently tender.
After I ate my meal, I decided to go to the receptionist to ask if there's a library in this town.
"Yes. There is a library here. You just have to follow the main road. You'll find a big building along the way and that's the library. They're open around 3 hours after sunrise and will close around 2 hours after sunset."
I guess it was 9am to 8am.
"Thank you. By the way, what time is the breakfast tomorrow?"
"Two hours after sunrise."
"I see. I'll go back to my room then. Thank you for the information."
"You're welcome, Sir. Please take a good rest."
I went back to my room and decided to end the day.
