'Who's this guy and why does he keep looking this way?' Drai silently mused as he stared at the man who was now averting his gaze. 'Is he aware of my appointment already or is it because I'm way younger than everyone else?'
Drai tried to recall if he had ever met or seen the person before, but he came up empty. This wasn't strange, for the past half-year since his awakening had mostly been spent studying in the academy and surviving in Siyeun Mountains, so he didn't really know that many people.
Drai then turned to Magnus' other entourage, a raven-haired woman around Ailem's age. Her demeanor was not too different from Auri's temporary aide, Angel, but she seemed a bit more inquisitive as her eyes kept darting around, scanning the various attendees.
Before Drai returned his attention to Alancho, he glanced at vacant chairs to his right and wondered if several main guests couldn't make it to the event.
