Jiang Ruan moved to the window and opened it. The slightly chilling wind poured in vehemently, striking her face and scattering her raven tresses.
The skin on her face was instantly imbued with a gentle cool, dampness.
Spring rain arrived abruptly, bringing a heavy chill with it.
Falling onto the ground outside the window, the rain diffused circles of reflected light.

After standing for a while, she found her mind clearing up. She then turned around and stepped away from the window.
She hadn't yet taken a full tour of this treatment center and wasn't entirely clear about its layout. She was on the 5th floor, which had an excellent view. There were probably ten rooms on this floor, mostly meant for rest or recreation, which weren't currently open. The children resided in another building.
Walking deeper, she realised someone was in one of the rooms.
