"Damn, there are so many red lights today, must be this damn kid's bad luck..." the driver cursed under his breath.
He knew how dangerous it was to deal with these small-time drug dealers. Rumor had it that all the low-level drug dealers openly trading had a mark on them at the police station. The police weren't arresting them yet, just casting a long line to catch the bigger fish.
Of course, the police didn't have eyes everywhere and couldn't see the dealers' trades from above, so the small-time dealers usually had a survival period when they first entered the business. Many of them just aimed to make a quick buck and then disappear.
Whether they could actually get away in the end was another matter.
The driver felt slightly safer working under Brother Li, so he particularly didn't want to deal with these small-time dealers, fearing he'd be targeted as a result.
But Brother Li's orders were something he dared not disobey.
