Chapter 1192 - Chapter 1186 Doubts in Journey to the West

If someone were to read Journey to the West carefully and repeatedly, three to five times, or even eight to ten times, they would find that there are far too many inconsistencies in the book that simply cannot be explained by common sense.

For instance, Sun Wukong, who made a ruckus in the Heavenly Palace and whom even the Jade Emperor and the one hundred thousand celestial soldiers and generals could not subdue, why then, on the journey to the West, was he unable to defeat some demons?

Another example, why did Tang Monk go to the Western Heavens to retrieve the scriptures and what was the purpose of retrieving them? Could it be that his scripture-retrieval was truly meant for the salvation of all sentient beings?

Sun Wukong could travel 108,000 miles in one somersault, he could have easily flown to the Western Heavens to retrieve the scriptures, so why did he have to travel there at a snail's pace, isn't that more troublesome?
