The plump man was thrown into the room roughly without even time to regain his balance before his two companions dragged him across the floor and propped him against a chair.

" Enough! It won't do if everyone in the inn knows what we're discussing!" The taller and burlier of them spoke up, and it was enough to make the slimmer frown and relent, dropping his volume.
" We escaped Baghdad's mines to follow him and retrieve what's rightfully ours… then we find ourselves with nothing!" He turned the chair upright and flopped on it, leaning on his open palm. " What should we do now?"
