You forced yourself to be strong time and time again, all these things you did, weren't they because our own actions have brought you immense pain? Otherwise, why would you choose such a way to prove to us that you are right?
It is we, as grandparents, who owe you an apology. We haven't been there for you over the years, nor have we provided any care and affection; instead, my actions kept bringing you profound suffering again and again. I am truly sorry. If there ever comes a day when time can be rewound, I wish to let myself know that deep down, I truly have you, and I am willing to open up my heart to let you see clearly that, in fact, my heart is made of flesh, it is red, not black!
