Erika watched, her jaw clenched, as the grotesque monsters relentlessly slammed their massive bodies against the shimmering barrier.

The sheer force of the impacts vibrated through the very ground beneath her feet.
"Commander Wang, we can't stand here and watch, I'm going," she declared, her voice taut with determination.
Before she could launch herself into the fray, Aaron's calm voice cut through the tension.
"You don't need to ask for permission, love. Go ahead."
"Uh?" Erika blinked, her resolve momentarily shattered by surprise.
Not just her, but every soldier and officer standing beside and behind Aaron was equally stunned. They exchanged bewildered glances, their faces etched with confusion.
Aaron chuckled, a low, reassuring sound.
"No worries," he said, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "My wife is just planning on exterminating every living monster around us. Why don't we give her some assistance?"
