"Can we talk in a more private place?" The girl asked before saying anything else.
I looked around at the crowd before turning back to give her a nod.
I reached my hand out to help her up, but that was when I heard a voice say…
"What are you doing?"
This was a cold voice that sent chills down my spine because I recognized it right away.
When I turned over in the direction of that voice, I saw that Liu Ao Xue was standing there with her arms crossed. She had her brows slightly knit and there was a cold look in her eyes as she looked at me.
There was an awkward smile that appeared on my face when I saw her like this, but I still acted calm as I helped the girl up before saying, "I'm just helping someone."
"Is that so?" There were far more implications than what was on the surface with these words, but I acted like I didn't hear a thing.
The girl who I just helped up also revealed an awkward look when she heard this before she came forward to help me explain.
