In less than half a month, the first 'carriage' equipped with an internal combustion engine appeared. With the lessons learned from steam-powered predecessors, the crankshaft and connecting rods were all in place; it was simply a matter of transferring the craftsmanship from ships to carriages.
Daniel presented the prototype to Marvin at the earliest opportunity, enthusiastically introducing this brand new 'carriage'.
"Look, Teacher, we've fitted the factory's crankshaft to the car, ensuring the power from the internal combustion engine is directly transmitted to all four wheels...."
"Does it run without any issues?"
"We've already tested it! It's very fast!"
