With the preparation period ending, Will was unsurprised when Coach Ohd shouted to gather everyone before declaring, "Alright, first up will be William Aladfar Oirthear. Please step forward and declare who you would like to challenge."
'Well, here goes nothing...' thought Will, sporting an easygoing smile but sighing in his mind as he stepped forward to ascend the stage, prompting Alessandra and a few others to wish him luck.
After ascending the stage like a normal person, Will looked toward the group of First-Year Duelists, meeting the gaze of a slender girl with long, curly, cinnamon-red hair fixed into two tiny pigtails with the rest flowing in long curls past her waist. Her body was garbed in a padded, form-fitting white dress with an incredibly short skirt, white stockings adorned with black ribbons, and a grey, long-sleeved half vest with frilly white cuffs. A shortsword adorned her hip, but Will knew her primary weapons were the dual wands hidden in her sleeves.
