Helios's POV
As I watched Valerie walk away, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and admiration. She was strong, determined, and beautiful.
I had to admit, I had been drawn to her from the moment I met her. But I had pushed those feelings aside, focusing on her training and her potential as a warrior.
But now, I can't deny it anymore. I was attracted to her. And it wasn't just physical. I admired her spirit, her courage, and her heart.
I sighed, running a hand through my hair. This was complicated. I was her teacher, her mentor. I shouldn't feel this way.
But as I thought about it, I realized that maybe it wasn't a bad thing. Maybe this was exactly what Valerie needed. Someone to believe in her, to support her, and to love her.
And maybe, just maybe, I was that person.
