As Carmen raised the question of whether the food was purchased by an NPC or not, Xu Feng simply smiled mysteriously.

"This is food cooked by a player?" She became alarmed, having understood some of the meaning based on his behavior.
"There's no need to be that shocked." Xu Feng didn't bother to tell her to tone it down. They were stuck in a maze with only them alone.

This Expert Chef player was someone he accidentally stumbled across back when he was randomly teleported to Skyland City after completing his Origin Trial.
Back then, he went to a tavern to gather some information and discover the food was special. He didn't ponder over it much until he had declared guild war and returned to the city again.
