Inside a large and spacious room adorned with elegant decorations a young boy could be seen slumped on a bed his body was as pale as a dead body and was without the usual heaving of his chest which was a clear sign of him being dead.
His lifeless body layed there in silence for some minutes but suddenly his body jerked on the bed violently lasting for a full minute before finally stopping, his chest then began moving in a rhythm but the color of his body didn't change a bit.
After about fifteen minutes the sleeping boy suddenly woke up rubbing his eyes with his forearm, "What time is it…" He mumbled but suddenly stopped upon noticing the room it was nothing like his below average wreck of an apartment and was more like that of where a noble would live.
"What the…" The black-haired boy mused as his eyes slowly trailed around the room but was suddenly distracted by a knock that sounded on the door, he seemed shocked as he paused for a moment but he quickly came back to his senses and rushed towards the door.
Upon opening it he was met by a middle aged man with gray hair and a long mustache dressed in a butler like attire, "Good morning, young master Lucius" The burtler greeted with a curt bow with a hand before him and the other behind him.
"Lord Hick has invited you downstairs for a breakfast with him" The burtler said staring at the young boy with immense contempt in his eyes but with a professional face like his it would be hard for the young child to notice it, still he didn't seem to even bother with the burtler instead he seemed to be thinking about the message that was relayed.
'Lord Hick? Who the hell is that!' The boy thought inwardly as he paused in thought but the burtler didn't seem to be patient for his reply, "I advise you to join him quickly" The burtler said before turning around to leave the young boy who closed his door behind him almost immediately.
Not wasting anytime the boy immediately ran towards the bathroom door to quickly take a look at himself in the mirror and when he did so he was left shocked, 'This…' The boy was left stunned as he took in his appearance, he was handsome with a faced which almost seemed to be carved by the God's themselves but had a weak lanky build but with black curly hair and cold purple eyes.
He didn't know who this person was but he surely knew a family which had such deatils in their appearance. The Ravenblade family is the only family who's member has such facial features and appearance and they're meant to be a family from a novel he once read!
Although he didn't know how he ended up inside the body of a novel character or who his character was meant to be what he did know was that he to join the family head down for a meal immediately else his head would be severed immediately.
"Wait a minute" The boy mumbled as he thought, he had always heard of the Ravenblade family having an incompetent son named Lucius who was later disowned and dying cruely.
Is that the character I'm supposed to be?! That more of a reason why I need to get to that breakfast table immediately!
With that Lucius immediately washed his face changed his clothes and ran downstairs in a hurry ignoring the maids he met in the hallway as he then reached the long steps quickly running down he then turned and entered another room leaving the sitting room and finally reaching the dining room where he saw a long dining table with a number of five people seated scantily.
Upon noticing his presence a boy who seemed around his age or older than him immediately taunted, "Hmph! I Knew I smelt something repulsive, turns out a cockroach ran out from it's hiding spot!" the black-haired handsome young boy said with a snicker as the two other children chuckled.
Upon hearing this Lucius face squeezed into a frown, although he wasn't particularly worried about the past host receiving an insult for now absolute reason was something he couldn't take.
"Hah! Says an overweighed pig!" Lucius retorted with a sneer which made the young boy pause and his face flush red almost immediately, it was true he was a little chubby but he wasn't fat still he hated when anything related to his body size was being talked about.
"I dare you to say that again!" The boy said his face flushed red with anger but the woman who seemed to be their mother suddenly interrupted hitting the back of her sons heading causing him to exclaim in pain.
"That's enough from the both of you! Alric you're currently having a meal on the dining table yet you're speaking don't you have manners? And you Lucius your father graced you with the opportunity to have a breakfast with us yet you actually have the guts to come here a rain insults on my son?!" The brown-haired woman who seemed to be in her thirties yelled her vains visible on her neck like tattoos.
Upon hearing this Lucius only scoffed inwardly and stood before a black haired man who had his eyes closed, he wasn't afraid of the woman nor did he have respect for her rather he was afraid of incuring the wrath of the man before him.
Hick Ravenblade one of the strongest figures in the RHS novel! He was the only person in the Ravenblade family who was able to become a duo-elemental mage even though his better suit was being a swordsman!
"Good morning, Father" Lucius greeted respectfully with a bow but Hick merely nodded his head not even bothering to gaze at him as he took a random seat which was two seats away from him.
The aura at the dining table had become heavy but Lucius didn't seem to mind rather me merely took a piece of food from the serving plates and began eating without a care causing his father to stare at him for a moment before facing his food.
"So, Lucius I didn't invite you for a meal today just so we could have a casual family breakfast rather I did so to speak to you about your future in the Ravenblade house" When the ither children heard this they seemed to chuckle in delight because they knew what this meant.
Father is finally deciding to kick out the liability out of the family! It was only a matter of time but surely it's happening today!
They had smirks on their faces as their heads turned to meet Lucius who had paused his action of slicing a meat on his plate but they suddenly frowned when they saw his neutral expression.
'He's surely good at masking his expression but we all know that there's nothing he can do to change his fate!' They thought in a sneer and turned back to Hick who had continued to speak.
"The academy is starting in one month and you're the only one apart from your siblings who has yet to make a decision to join the academy, I understand if you just want to live a normal life it's easy for me to make you one of the managers of the family business and I assure you that no one would disapprove of your decision" Hick said his tone devoid of emotion as he spoke, he merely cast an expressionless gaze on Lucius who chuckled inwardly.
No one would disapprove of my decision my ass they all want me gone… Lucius remained with a composed and neutral face as he moved his head towards Hick.
"Ah father about that I've made a choice, I've decided to also attend the academy next month" When he said this everyone one in the table became shocked and immediately turned their heads towards him looking at him with utter shocking including his father who only raised a brow in suspicion.
