Chapter 166 - Ch. 166

"You… you're pregnant?" Bruce breathed as everyone looked at Natasha and Harry with varying degrees of shock.

"Yep." Natasha smiled brightly. "I am."

"Oh congratulations!" Barton said in a happy voice as he rushed forward and pulled her into a hug.

"Wait… I'm sorry, I think my brain isn't working properly." Tony apologised. "I am sorry but it sounded a lot like you just said that you were pregnant."

"It sounded like that because that is what I am and that is what I had said." Natasha replied just as she and Barton let go of each other.

"I… you… pregnant?" Tony blinked, looking at the two of them, as if he just could not believe it.

"Tony, normally I would be more than willing to explain how that works but there are two kids in the room." Harry said as he gestured to Wanda and Pietro.

"We know how it works." Wanda said in a quiet voice.

"Tony, for the love of god, these two kids know how it works." Harry sighed as he gestured to Pietro and Wanda again. "You and Steve are the only people here who don't know."

"What? I… I know." Steve said, his face tinting red slightly.

"Oh, come on, Tony." Harry said in an exasperated voice. "Even Steve knows."

"Hey," Tony began. "I am not saying that I don't know how it works, I do. I am just saying that…"

"Shush," Gwen interrupted, shushing Tony as she did so. She turned to Natasha. "how far along are you?" She asked with a smile.

"I am…" Natasha paused and looked at Harry. "a day and a half?" She mouthed.

"I…" Harry paused and his face turned thoughtful. "more like a day and a quarter." He mouthed. "Actually just a little bit over a quarter." He added

"I'll round it up," She mouthed before turning back to Gwen. "the answer is roughly about a day and a half." She answered, once again surprising everyone.

"I'm no expert but isn't that not enough time to find out if you're pregnant?" Clint asked, raising the question that was on everyone's mind.

"Yeah but that's only if you use the mundane methods," Harry replied. "we used a magical method since magic is much, much more better than science."

"Hey!" Bruce and Tony said in an offended voice.

"You two," Harry said as he looked at Wanda and Pietro. "really quickly, answer me this: if you had the choice between magic and science then which one would you choose?" Harry asked.

"Magic." They both answered immediately, causing Bruce and Tony to pout slightly.

.....

The next Saturday, Harry along with Natasha had taken Sif, Gwen, Pietro and Wanda to a theme park, he did say that he would take him and he was a man of his word. Padfoot came with them as well, obviously. Gwen went on all of the rides, Pietro refused to go on any unless they were high and fast… or at least relatively fast. Natasha went on very few rides but not all of them, as did Wanda. Harry was quite happy to join Pietro on the fast rides and only went on a couple of the slower ones.

Personally Harry didn't really enjoy the rides as much as the others, sure they were entertaining but Harry had been flying much higher since he was eleven years old, and faster as well. With that being said, the thrill from the rides was nice. The day ended with the group all buying pizza and enjoying it over a nice dinner. So overall, a good day.

"Did you have fun?" An old man dressed in a wizard costume, complete with fake beard and hair, asked as they were leaving the park.

"It was great." Gwen smiled as they walked past him.

"Glad you kids enjoyed yourselves, feel free to come back anytime." The man called. "Excelsior!" He added.

"Am I supposed to know that guy?" Harry asked once they were out of ear shot of the old man. "I feel like I should know that guy." He added.

"Me too." Natasha frowned.

"He seemed nice." Sif said, offering her opinion.

The group exchanged looks before they shrugged it off and continued walking.

.....

"What are you doing?" Natasha laughed when Harry suddenly grabbed her feet and placed them on his lap. The two were currently sat in Harry's apartment, sitting together on the sofa. Right now it was Natasha's turn to be alone with Harry, leaving Sif with Padfoot, not that Sif didn't like spending time with Padfoot. As a matter of fact the two got along greatly.

"I'm practising." Harry said in a 'it's obvious' voice, right before he began massaging Natasha's ankles. "From what I have heard, when you get pregnant your feet will swell and it'll be up to me to massage them."

"Hmm, well you're doing a good job now." Natasha said with a content sigh as she leaned back and allowed him to continue massaging her. "If you keep that up then I might just reward you later." She added as she let out a soft moan.

"I will gladly look forward to it."

"Hey, do you think it'll be a boy or a girl?" She suddenly asked him.

"I've got to be honest, I don't really know." Harry replied. "Why? What do you think?"

"I don't really mind either way," Natasha shrugged. "but when he or she is born then I want all names you pick to go by me first, you're naming sense is terrible."

"Hey!" Harry protested in a mock-offended voice.

"Well it's true," She smirked. "I mean look at Padfoot, poor boy, you couldn't even come up with an original name for him."

"That is not a problem with my ability to name things, that is a problem with laziness, and you can't fault me on that because that is a proper British quality that we Englishmen have spent years perfecting."

"The art of laziness?" She snorted with amusement.

"Yep." Harry nodded. "It's more than an art, it's a bloody way of life that I have happily lived and will happily always live. You may take my powers, and my life, but you will never take my freedom or my nap time."

"Duly noted." Natasha laughed. "Hmm, if you could name them then what would you want to name them?" She asked.

"Huh?" Harry blinked at her.

"If you could name them then what would you want to name them?" Natasha asked once again.

"I… um… I… I don't really know." Harry sighed. "I never really expected to have kids so I never really thought about it. I… if it's a boy then I can only really think up two names, James and Teddy."

"Your father and godson." Natasha said in a quiet voice.

"Exactly, I mean… what am I supposed to do? Name him after the dead guy I haven't talked to in years since our last argument or name him after the godson that I still wish was alive? That would feel like I was trying to replace them, you know?"

"I understand," Natasha nodded. "what if it was a girl?" She asked in a soft voice.

"I'm not sure, I can only really come up with two names."

"Go on." She encouraged him.

"Well, the first is Lily, Lily being the dead mother I argued with and haven't seen for years. So, the only other one I can think of is 'Rose'."

"Rose?" Natasha repeated.

"Ever since I had learnt what my parents had looked like I had always imagined a little sister, a little girl who would look exactly like Mum, she'd have her red hair and the three of us would have green eyes." Harry said with a wistful smile. "My Aunt - bitch that she was - was called Petunia, and my mother Lily, so…"

"You would name your daughter as 'Rose'." Natasha finished.

"Yeah," Harry said with a small nod. "actually you know what, you were right, it is probably better if you pick the names out."

"Hey," Natasha whispered as she nudged him with her foot. "I like Rose."

"Really?" Harry looked at her with a small smile.
