"Ma-Master… It's Young Master Kai—he… he was taken by someone!"
My heart nearly came to a stop as I heard that, and my mind went blank with only my instincts suddenly taking charge.
"Where are you?"
"On the—urgh—Sylvia, wait!"
"Rowan?!" I growled, and Roan looked at me worriedly as he tried to listen too.
"What's wrong? What happened to Young Master?" he asked, and I gritted my teeth.
Suddenly I heard a sharp hoot which made me look up—it was Nox. He flew above us, hooting urgently.
I leapt off the bench, making him take off in one direction. I started running behind him, bumping into the crowd and nearly shoving people out of my way as I followed Nox. He flew towards the southern side where the forest was—it was the opposite side of my Oasis and Eldarf.
I activated the Life Connection with Kai and was blocked for some reason.
