Hod immediately turned really happy. He nodded quickly at me, and we both went to the back.
We decided to do the regeneration in the kitchen. Hod released his fake pirate wooden foot and laid down on the floor while I kneeled down.
"Do note that this will be quite painful. To regrow the wound, I need to open the wound again. You have to be ready to withstand the pain."
"... Is there no other way?"
"Sadly, none. Do you want to walk or not!?"
"Okay, geez!"
Hod leaned his back on the floor and took a deep breath.
I lifted one finger upwards and shadow cuffs came from the ground, completely stopping Hod from moving crazily. The shadow cuffs circled around his wrists, his body, his foot, and the neck. I put one on his forehead too, so he doesn't lift his head.
"W-Wait, I think this is-"
"Just in case you became crazy and started moving abnormally. Because you most likely will."
I took out a piece of cloth from my space ring and placed it in his mouth.
"Bite on this, else you will bite your tongue."
He bit on the cloth and quickly took another deep breath. I took out a throwing knife and got ready to cut. I turned to him one last time.
"Try not to scream too loud, okay? There's people eating out there."
He nodded heavily at my command, and slowly lowered his head to the floor.
"Ready? Five, four, three, two-"
SREESHH!!!
"Hhhmmmmppphhh!!!!"
Blood quickly flowed out of his leg into the floor while Hod screamed rather loudly from under the cloth he was biting. I quickly casted the Emperor tier healing magic, and the magic is taking the form of his leg as soon as I casted it.
Despite the tons of energy I am inserting, the process was extremely slow. The magic slowly pieces the leg together around an inch every three seconds, and slowly the leg is being made.
If I dare say, it's like looking at a 3D printer printing something. This is more or less like that, just a lot brighter and bloodier.
The process is forming from the bone, then the meat, and finally the skin. While the skin is being made, there is no hair growing. Probably because it is still new and the hair will take some time to grow.
Slowly but surely, the foot is being built. And after a few minutes, I finally finished on the fingers.
After I finished, I quickly fell to my butt while my whole face was sweating. That took so much energy that I started to feel sleepy.
I think the biggest reason for my tiredness is with my stress rather than the energy consumption, but yeah… details.
I turned to Hod, and realized that he is also sweating hard. He is also catching his breath, since that much pain definitely puts an insane stress on his mind.
I released the shadow cuffs that were cuffing him, and he slowly lifted his upper body. He took the cloth from his mouth and glared at the new foot I just made. He quickly touched it while laughing. The foot really did get regenerated.
Ignoring the puddling blood on the floor, he is incredibly happy.
"Th-This is…"
"With this, my promise is delivered."
I said as I stood up.
"Try walking."
Hod slowly stood up from his old foot, and finally his new foot. He tried walking on it, but he lost balance due to the new feeling. I moved in to help, but he lifted his hand to stop me.
He started walking really slowly by holding on to the kitchen table, and he finally can stand on two feet.
"This is... A miracle..."
"Nothing is impossible. Not with magic."
Hod laughed as he tried moving his new fingers. The fingers moved around as he commanded, and he turned his foot wrist around and laughed when it somehow felt really weird.
He slowly tried walking again. And finally he was able to walk without any support.
Hod was about to thank me, but then his mother opened the door.
"Oh my god... Oh my god!!"
His mother quickly runs and sees Hod's new foot. She asked a lot of things about how it happened and how it felt. Hod simply answered it's all thanks to me.
Hod's mother turned to me, who is leaning my back on the kitchen desk.
"You're welcome. I owed him this much."
"You... Even after giving us those incredible menus... You are still able to do this..."
The mother cried as she hugged me. I simply chuckled and told her it's okay.
Afterwards, Hod is learning to walk again like a toddler. He fell multiple times as he tried to run in an already small kitchen. I laughed at him, but his mother is always there to help him.
Having a family member sure is nice...
I wonder what my family is going through at this moment.
Afterwards, the sun went down, and the team finally came to the restaurant. They were surprised that I am already here.
I was sitting at the tall chair, eating a new menu I gave Hod while waiting for the sun to go down.
"Try it. I called it a strawberry pancake."
It is yet another dessert.
The materials are simply eggs, flour, and sugar, which is something very commonly found. The difficult part is making the strawberry jam.
Hod suggested that juicing the strawberries could work. We did that, and it simply made strawberry juice. We decided to fill in more sugar and then cook the juice. After freezing it with Hod's ice magic, we finished making it.
A… failed strawberry jam.
But, it still tastes really good, so I decided to go along anyway.
I picked a piece of the pancake with strawberry sauce above it using a fork, and gave it to Fran. She tasted it, and quickly screamed with the warm pancake in her mouth.
"It's shooo gooood!!"
Haha, she is really cute like this.
Hod decided to make more as we moved to a larger table for six. Hod often came out and screamed me some questions regarding the menu. After the sixth question, I became really pissed off and went to the kitchen to help him.
He finally made it by making pancakes for everyone in the restaurant. He let us have the first taste before giving it to everybody else.
"Delicious!"
"This is damn good!"
Emily and Brod said as they tried the pancake. They haven't even tried the strawberry jam yet. I told them about putting the strawberry jam above the pancakes, and they quickly tried it with the strawberry on.
"What is this taste!?"
"This is ten times better!!"

After confirming the taste with us, Hod goes back and brings up the plates filled with pancakes. He gave it to the people on the first and second floor and told them it is a test for a new menu.
This is already the second one this week, and they are very curious on how it tasted. They set the bar really high and tried it out.
Even with the expectations high, they still got shocked.
"This is amazingly sweet!"
"The last one was cold, but this one is actually a warm one. It is just as good!"
"You are amazing, Hod!"
The people praised Hod for the new dessert menu. Hod immediately placed a new menu on the menu board at the top wall behind the counter desk.
His mother was yet again shocked by the new menu when she came out from her room. She thanked me again, and I simply nodded. A menu for Hod means a menu for me too.
"By the way, Rize, where did you go earlier? You disappeared and Emily came to us by herself."
Fran asked, and I simply chuckled.
"Have you guys noticed something different about Hod?"
Everyone became confused. And just like it was timed, Hod came out from the back, bringing some plates filled with the free pancakes for the customers. And he is already walking normally.
"He is… walking fast…"
"His foot… what??"
Fran, Brod, and everyone else became confused while I took a sip on my tea.
Oh yeah, Hod might need a new drinking menu. Maybe a hot chocolate?
While Hod is walking back after bringing the plate to a customer, Cane called him. Hod quickly approached.
"Hod! What happened to your leg??"
Hod noticed and looked at his new leg that is now wearing a shoe. He lifted the pants and showed that he had no leg hair at all. Then he showed the other foot where tons of leg hairs are growing.
"A new leg. That's what happened."
"Woah!! How??"
Hod tilted his head at me and I simply chuckled.
"I have obtained Emperor tier healing magic."
I said while forming a V form with my fingers, a sign of victory while still holding the tea cup with my other hand.
Two of the boys threw the pancake out from their mouths and they landed on the table. Brod was still capable of holding it inside his mouth, but Emily was still normal because she suddenly ran to the bathroom. Fran is simply dead inside.
I like their reactions…
I sipped the tea again and gazed at the outside of the restaurant.
Hod returned to the back and did his own stuff while we talked about many things. I told them the payment for the mission will be done in around two days, since even the Office won't be able to pay it, they will need to request help from the kingdom.
They started planning what to do with the money, like buying some gears and items. Meanwhile, I had a debt to pay to the dwarf. Apparently making this scythe and armor isn't that cheap.
After that, I'll be looking for a house.
Oh… All the things I can do with a house…
