She had tried so many passwords and couldn't open the safe; she no longer expected to guess his, so she had to try a different tactic to draw him out.
"Oh? What game do you want to play?"
Ning Xia's dark, large eyes spun round, and then she pulled out a deck of playing cards from beneath the table. Waving them in front of him, she proposed, "Let's keep it simple, draw high or low. Then, the loser has to—truth or dare, I suppose—and if they can't do either, they'll just have to drink a penalty."
John Hill was somewhat taken aback that she wanted to play this game; he raised an eyebrow lightly, "Aren't you afraid of losing and having to comply with any demand I make?"
"I'm not scared," Ning Xia replied without hesitation. "Because it'll definitely be you who loses."
"If that's the case, then let's begin."
Ning Xia shuffled the cards briskly and then spread them out on the table. She nodded towards them with her chin, "You first."
