Mu Mian put Fu Shanshan and her daughter in the house, instructing them to rest in the downstairs room. Both of them had many wounds, leaving her with no choice but to go upstairs to fetch a first-aid kit for them.
Fu Shanshan's mother was in poor condition, her face and body covered in bruises, yet she was silently weeping on the side, seemingly accustomed to these injuries.
Mu Mian said to Fu Shanshan, "You two rest here for now. I'm going to buy some necessities and will have someone send food over. Have you eaten yet?"
Then Mu Mian went out and made a call to Tang Dai.
"Tang Dai, could you please send over two sets of clothes for Fu Shanshan and her mother, and also some food?"
Fu Shanshan happened to overhear Mu Mian's call.
