Chapter 321 - Chapter 319 : Administrator!!

With an angry shout, Hilbert Ron Anjou erupted in an instant.

The fierce blade light, carrying a gust of wind, tore through the air in front of him.

At that moment, no one could see clearly how many slashes Hilbert made. The dense light of the blades spread like mercury, filling the entire space.

The force of the slash was perfectly executed, as if a tsunami was rising and falling, the heavy and violent pressure overwhelming, surpassing that of any swordsmanship master.

In that moment, the ultimate form of Iaido was fully realized, releasing all its power in one strike, deciding the outcome in a single move.

However, Hilbert's full-force slash collided with what seemed like a crystallized wall of air.

Boom!!!

A loud explosion, accompanied by the sharp sound of metal clashing, erupted, sending brilliant sparks into the night.

Hilbert was knocked back several steps, barely stopping himself. His right hand, holding the broken blade, trembled slightly, and his palm was torn open, blood dripping steadily down.

"You will not hurt Adam!"

Erii, usually so cautious about harming others and never speaking up, now appeared like an enraged little tiger, protecting Adam behind her.

Her wine-red hair fluttered in the wind, and her beautiful eyes were cold and chilling, like a ruler commanding the world.

A heavy, mountain-like pressure surged forth like a flood breaking its banks. The ground was torn apart by the force, and even the air trembled, as if it feared the power of this young girl.

"Little girl, the person standing behind you doesn't need your protection."

Hilbert, though shocked, was not surprised.

After all, that was a Dragon King. If such a person could easily be killed, why would he go through the trouble of running Cassell College, selecting the strongest hybrids to be dragon slayers for humanity?

After a brief moment to catch his breath and recover, Hilbert coldly stared at Adam and said in a low voice, "Am I right? The new White King, Adam Angelwid."

Wait, Dragon King? Adam?

It wasn't until this moment that everyone snapped out of their shock, staring in disbelief at Hilbert and the seemingly ordinary young man.

Just now, Hilbert said that Adam had ascended to the throne of the 'White King'?!

In just a few seconds, the expressions of Gen Chisei and Miyamoto Shio changed dramatically, going from red to white, then from white to purple. Their moods went through several ups and downs, nearly causing their jaws to drop.

No, it can't be. Could today be April Fool's Day?

But from Hilbert's expression and reaction, it was clear that he was serious.

Adam Anglewid is the White King?!

Gen Chisei's pupils shrank in shock. "No, it's impossible! I saw it with my own eyes—Herzog was devoured by the Sacred Relics, and then I destroyed the Sacred Relics!"

"That's false, an illusion," Hilbert said, turning his gaze toward Adam. "To be precise, it should be that a false memory was implanted."

"Implanted, a false memory?" Gen Chisei's face changed drastically, as though struck by lightning. He looked at Adam in disbelief. "You... really are the White King?"

"At this point, are you still going to deny it?"

Hilbert's face remained calm, but his eyes held a chilling murderous intent.

"I'm just curious. Why do you insist that I am the White King?"

Adam's gaze was indifferent, and he showed no signs of surprise. He simply looked at Hilbert calmly.

"It was Nido, the administrator of the Hunter website, who told me that a new White King was born in Japan."

Hilbert stretched his limbs for a moment before saying, "The little girl from the Uesugi family, now you understand, don't you? You're not protecting a person, but a... real Dragon King!"

"No wonder. It was Nido from the Hunter website after all."

After his identity was completely exposed, Adam didn't panic at all. He adjusted his glasses and laughed, saying, "This guy is really petty. He's still holding a grudge from a year ago. I can't believe he's still stabbing me in the back. I'll remember this grudge."

Once this matter is over, he'll go 'entertain' that guy properly.

Everyone knows, Adam doesn't hold grudges. He settles them on the spot. If he doesn't, it makes him feel uncomfortable.

"You know him?"

Seeing that Adam seemed familiar with Nido, Hilbert furrowed his brows.

"Not exactly. We've met once," Adam shrugged slightly, sighed deeply, and then said meaningfully, "A year ago, because of something, I had a falling out with that guy, and it seems he's been holding a grudge ever since."

"Erii, come here quickly!"

At this moment, when Gen Chisei looked at Adam again, he broke out in a cold sweat and shouted loudly, "That guy is not human, he's the White King!"

The White King was no ordinary being. He was a true 'White King,' second only to the Black Emperor Nidhogg in the dragon clan's bloodline. In fact, his status surpassed even that of the Four Dragon Kings!

To put it simply, the White King could destroy the four islands of Japan with just a thought!

No one could guarantee whether this newly reborn White King would be cruel, or if any creature inheriting the dragon bloodline would become increasingly violent the higher the blood concentration.

Dragons and humans were fundamentally different species. To a dragon, humans were as insignificant as ants are to people!

However, to everyone's surprise, Erii, who had always been obedient, shook her head stubbornly.

"Erii?"

Gen Chisei looked at his determined sister and quickly figured out the reason. He glared at Adam, "It's you! You've controlled Erii!"

"The White King controls the mental element and could have implanted false memories into your sister," Hilbert explained.

He seemed to understand this well and continued, "After entering Cassell College, he implanted false memories in many people. I initially thought he was sent by some secret faction, but now, it seems I may have been affected as well."

"Food can be eaten carelessly, but words cannot be spoken recklessly, Principal Hilbert."

Adam shook his head and said, "From beginning to end, I've never controlled any of you. As for Erii, I only promised her 'freedom.' I gave freedom to someone trapped in a cage. No longer bound, she can experience the beauty of the world without worrying about harming others. That's all."

Gen Chisei weakly parted his lips, wanting to argue, but seeing Erii's red-rimmed eyes, he swallowed his words.

He couldn't give Erii the freedom she wanted, nor could he let her experience the beauty of the world. Everything seemed too distant for her, far beyond reach.

But... at least he couldn't let Erii stay by the White King's side.

"Erii, come back. Please, I beg you."

Gen Chisei gritted his teeth, his eyes bloodshot. In a hoarse voice, he said, "I swear, I'll find a way. I won't let you stay in that steel cage. I'll make sure you gain your freedom."

Facing the desperate plea from her closest relative, Erii couldn't recall ever seeing such an expression on her face. For a moment, her small face looked bitter, and she seemed really conflicted.

She tugged at Adam's sleeve, her big, sparkling eyes—clear like emeralds—looking at the young man beside her, as if seeking his opinion.

"It's alright, if you want to go back, I won't stop you."

Adam smiled gently and raised his hand to pat the girl's hair. "I respect your choice, Erii."

Erii lowered her head, thinking seriously for a few seconds, then raised her head and firmly shook her head.

Once again, she was rejected. Gen Chisei stood there, speechless, unsure of what to do.

"Enough chatting, gentlemen."

Hilbert, holding a folding knife, stepped toward Adam once again. His expression was cold as he spoke, "Since you've chosen to stand with the dragon, be prepared to be an enemy of humans."

"Principal Hilbert, we should have a pact, right?"

Adam looked at Hilbert, who was getting closer, sighed, and said, "To be honest, I don't think we need to end up at the point of drawing swords."

"The pact was nullified the moment you became the White King."

Hilbert sneered and said, "Besides, I don't think a Dragon King would kindly talk about a pact with humans."

"Eh, I'm really not good at fighting."

Adam pushed up his glasses, showing an expression of helplessness.

Looking at Hilbert's back, Caesar, who already knew what was coming, reluctantly drew his black sword. He turned to the indifferent Chu Zihang beside him and asked, "Hey, do you think we can win against the Dragon King with just the few of us?"

Chu Zihang was silent for a moment, then looked at him seriously and said, "Guaranteed victory."
