"Whoa, no," Alex said, raising a hand as if to calm her down. "I'm not that kind of god. I'm just part of the god race. You know, a higher being with... followers. People who believe in me, that sort of thing."
Lumi narrowed her eyes. "So, no universe creation? No lightning bolts of doom? What's even the point of being a god, then?"
Alex ignored her, turning to the path ahead. "Anyway, let's move. I've got friends fighting in a war. I was supposed to help them before getting sidetracked by all this dungeon business."
"War?!" Lumi's face lit up with excitement. "Let's gooo! War! War! War! Time to show off how strong we are!" Before Alex could react, she jumped onto his shoulder, clutching his head like a tiny but overly enthusiastic backpack. "Go, go, go! To victory!"
Alex groaned. "Why do I feel like I'm babysitting chaos itself?"
"Because you are!" Lumi chirped, tugging at his hair like reins. "Now charge, Supreme Mage God Dude!"
