Levi sat comfortably in his luxurious office chair, the dim light casting shadows across his sharp features as he listened intently to the report from one of his subordinates.
"Four mirror shards were stolen in one night," the subordinate reported, anxiety etched across his face.
Initially, Levi's anger bubbled beneath the surface, but he quickly suppressed it. He leaned back in his chair, tapping his fingers. Anger was a luxury he could not afford, especially when he had a skilled warlock by his side—Kino Jole.
Thanks to Kino who stood nervously before him. Kino was adept at his craft, and the lock of hair he had acquired from the attackers could serve as the key to tracking them down.
Kino fidgeted nervously, his hands twisting nervously as he awaited Levi's response. "M-My apologies, my lord!" he blurted out, his voice shaky.
"It's fine. Don't overreact so much," Levi replied, his tone almost dismissive.
