Chapter 104: Have I... Been A Good Friend To You?

Some of my classmates laughed at me.

I went back to my seat. What? Why are they laughing at me? It made me race through my mind. Is my dream stupid and dumb?
"Good luck achieve something you will never ever and no one will ever achieve" John whispered and laughed
His friends laugh with him. Those times, makes me not want to achieve my dream. Them making fun of me, makes me think being a hiker, is stupid.
"Siiigh, there goes fucking John again" I heard my seatmate Lito murmuring
Lito, a friend of mine, he has a very close friend not long ago but got manipulated by John, Lito's worst enemy. They no longer talk, his friend now started to hang out with John. It really hurt him.
He wants to become a manipulator, and manipulate a best friend of one of John's best friend and show him how it really feels. In the future, I looked up in the ceilings.

Elyzer pulled it out for me and threw it away. It spun and went back to him.
"Ohohoho, a 2 versus 1 situation. I can do this"
He pulled out the ice axe off of me. I touched my neck including the back, it only dug a small centimeter, thanks to my Gigantosaurus thick skin.
"Oh wow, such thick skin you got there"
He started attack me, I dodge, going backwards.

Elyzer threw a punch at him, he dmblocked it with his ice axes on time.
"I'll take back what I just said, hey! Can you help me here!?"
"Sorry, but no. My ability is not made for close distanced fight. I already passed it on you but I am not telling about it in front of them"
"Kaaah, okay then, I'll take them on on my own"

The ice axes metal turned into ice, he swung it to me. I dodged, my right arm got hit, I recharged my arm and threw a punch at him.

"Once you got hit by my ice axe that is on ice form, you will be thawed or iced in slow motion. Good to hear right?"
He punch me on the face, I staggeredback as I hold my face in pain. I moved my right arm, it can move again in normal motion. So it can go off overtime.

I hear a familiar sound, sound of an raptor. Something swift the wind on my right, it was a familiar raptor. It's blue beautiful feather swayed, Elyzer followed behind his raptor. The raptor opened his mouth and tried to bit him.
*Swift*
Huh!? The guy jumped up and stabbed the air with his ice axes. He stayed on the air liked he actually picked and penetrated a wall. Elyzer noticed and jumped on the back of his raptor. He jumped high up in the air and tried to punch him on the stomach.
The man lifted leg, Elyzer missed.
"Hah! Somehow I am dodging these two!"
What!? How can he hang on the air like it's a wall!? What kind of ability he have!?
He dropped on the ground again, Elyzer's raptor screeched, Elyzer readied himself.
"I am still not sure what are the abilities of you two but getting hit by those might really hurt. If that so then I'll try to dodge it as much as I can"
He looked at the both of us.
"C'mon! Show me what you two to got!"
This guy is mocking us! Elyzer and I ran up to him, our arms blazing. Elyzer threw punches a raptorous speed at him.

He landed a hit on the the guy's face, the blue particles flew and float on the air.
"Ohohoh wow, your fast!"
I swung my right fist to continue, he dodged it a d have me a firece look.
"While this one is slow. Maybe slow and powerful"
He swung his ice axe with ice on me, the back of my neck got hit. It dug a bit on my skin, he took it off. I tried to move my head to look at him. I-I can't! Somehow my neck is moving slow like what happened to my right arm.
A few seconds later, it was gone, I can move it normaly, I looked up. Elyzer is throwing punches at him like a gatling gun. The guy manage to hit both of his arms, making a small wounds. Elyzer's arms started to move slowly.
"Ohohoho, best enemy to use my abilities on!"
He raised both of his ice axes, ready to make a cut on Elyzer's neck.

I managed to hit him on time, hitting him on the side of his chest. He flew, gliding on the buildings and landed on the ground.
"Owwwww, that really hurts. Yep, slow but painful compared to the faster one
"Hey! Tell me, how the hell he can hang on the air like is an invisible wall!?" I asked my ability
"..... I dunno, I don't have any knowledge about that"

"Hey Mateo, what should we do, run or fight" Elyzer asked
I clenched my fists.
"Let's show them we are not easily mess with. Even if we ran, he is gonna follow, we do not know what are other more of his abilities"
"John!? How does your ability activate again!? Adrian shouted to John

Adrian didn't listen, he threw his ice axes towards me. It spun fast, I readied my arm and swung it to hit one of the ice axes.

I only hit the air, I looked at the ice axes, the move very slowly like in a very slow motion, it's like thawed. It suddenly started moving on normal speed again. It made a slice on the back of my neck.
Elyzer spread his hands wide open, the ice axe dug in his palm, but it looked like he has a thick skin only digging a bit of his skin.
"What kind of skins do you two have!?"
He recalled his ice axes.
"Please, you don't have to do this"
"Hey, did your ability worked!?"
He isn't listening a single word from me!
"Be patient man! I can activate it anytime but let's just test your abilities on them they looked cool"
He looked up in front again, my fist ready for a blow. He was shocked, this is what you get for not focusing on your fight.

I landed the punch directly to his stomach. He flew away.

He crashed on a window and went inside the movie theater.

I made my aura on my legs explode, boosting me forward. I skidded on the floor and came into an halt. I went inside through the window wall where Adrian crashed.
Shattered class clanked and cracked under my shoes. I looked around, it was dark, but of the sunlight came from the windows. The inside was a mess, things scattered around the floor, popcorns spilled on the floor.
Where the hell is he? I walked around. The aura on my left arm emitted light, lighting small area. I suddenly heard a sound to my right.

I threw a punch, it was a wall. It was very dark, I am looking at a void. I went in the hole, I recharged my arms and legs, I can see a row of seats. I think I am inside the auditorium.

I stepped on something, it was a anaglyph 3d glasses.

I heard a familiar sound, the familiar sound of ice axes slick slicing the air. I dodged.

It hit the wall behind me and went back, going back to the darkness. I transfered some of my aura to the seat in front of me. It started glowing aura.

I used my Gigantosaurus to carry it and threw it the darkness, using the light to see. I didn't see him.

The aura on the chair exploded, making a shockwave. It particles scattered around, it lightened up nearly half of the auditorium. He is nowhere around.
"Be alert Mateo, he might be around somewhere"

I suddenly heard a footsteps on left. I looked, there he is, running up at me, holding his ice axes behind him.
"Surprise!"
He threw his arms forward, the ice axes spun, ready to cut my neck. Shit! Suddenly, an outstretched leg with blue fiery aura came into view from the hole I made. It was Elyzer who launched himself.

His shoe Adrian on the shoulder. Adrian flew away, his body bumped on the seats and landed.
"Kurreeeee!" His raptor screeched
"Hey, what about the other guy?" I asked Elyzer
"I searched for him but he is nowhere. My couldn't smell his whereabouts"
My aura particles came back to me, I recharged my right arm. We searched the area, he was gone again.
"Damn, this guy is like Houdini"
I raised my left fist again and made my aura explode. The gray particles flew forward, lighting the area once again. We looked around the gray environment.
We started moving, looking around for him. We started walking down on the stairways slowly. Elyzer eyed on the left side, I eyed on the right side.
*Cccraaaakkk*
We got alerted. What-what is that, where is it coming from!? We suddenly heard a cracking ice. It muust be no other than Adrian, he is using ice powers. We looked around where is the sound coming.
The sound got nearer and nearer. I got more in alert. Suddenly, I felt my leg very cold. I tried to move it.

I looked down, there's cold ice holding my shin down. I can't move!? There is an ice trails on my half right.
*Sesesesesee*
I could hear blades slicing the air. It was Adrian jumping on the head of the chairs, going towards me, spinning his ice axes.

I raised both of my arms on the side of my necks on time, the blade went a bit in my akin.
"What's with these skins!"

I made my aura on my right arm explode, his ice axe flew, but he still held on it tight. I readied my right arm to punch.

He stabbed my right arm with the point of his ice axe. I move my left arm to punch.

My left arm move slowly, he thawed my arm before stabbing! He stabbed the blades on my neck again. He started sawing my neck, it hurts! He is going to decapitate my head! Blood started flowing out of my wounds.
"Elyzer!"
"I can't! There's ice on my legs, somehow I can't make my legs explode!"
"Schuureeeeech!"
We looked behind, it was Elyzer's raptor running towards us, it's mouth opened, sharp teeth showing. Hell yeah! He jumped and bit Adrian's left arm.
"Get off of me you fucking extinct animal!"
He took out his right ice axe off of my neck and stab it's point to Elyzer's raptor.
"Schuureeeeech!"
His raptor cried in agony and let go of his arm.
"What the hell did you do to him!"
Elyzer got angry and swung his fist at Adrian.
*Tud*
We suddenly heard a sound, it was Elyzer's aura that got bigger.
*BAng*
Adrian flew away, going to the entrance. The ice on our legs melted into water. Elyzer went to check on his raptor, his raptor is shrieking loudly, walking around blindly. I covered my ears.
"Go, follow him!"
"Okay"
*Bang*
I made the aura on my legs explode, boosting me up. I went in the dark lobby and looked around, the aura light up the place. Around me is void of darkness. I have to be careful, he might be around here somewhere.
"Hey Mateo, use my hearing"
"No, I don't want my ears to get blown"
*Clack clack*
*Munch*
I heard shoes clanking in front of me, the sound got louder and nearer.
"Mmmmm, this popcorn is kinda soggy"
Adrian emerged from the darkness, holding a big bucket of popcorn and shoving a handful of popcorns in his mouth.
"Oh yeah, sorry for stabbing you friend's raptor back down there. But there's nothing I can do"
"C'mon sir, you don't have to do this"
He threw the bucket at me, I covered my face with my arm.
"Shut the fuck up amigo, I want a fight"
