The next day, Andy slept until he naturally woke up, and then he met Hermione, who looked as if she was about to burst into flames, in the common room.
"Morning." Andy waved and said hello.
"It's almost noon..."
Hermione took a deep breath and spoke as calmly as she could: "Do you remember that we have something important to do today? We promised Professor Dumbledore!"
Andy scratches his head. "Of course, I remember; that's why I need to rest. Besides, who does important things in the morning? I don't think Voldemort has even woken up yet."
Hermione: "..."
"Do you think the Dark Lord is as lazy as you?" Hermione can't help but fume.
"If I get the chance, I'll ask for you." Andy raised an eyebrow with a light smile.
"...okay."
Seeing that Hermione was about to lose her temper, Andy quickly added, "Let's go find Harry. We can't carry out Professor Dumbledore's plan without Harry."
Hermione took a deep breath and swallowed the words that were on the tip of her tongue.
There is an important matter at hand!
There is an important matter at hand!!
There is an important matter at hand!!!
After repeating this mantra three times, Hermione looked at Andy and said as calmly as she could, "Let's go!"
Today was Saturday.
So Andy and Hermione found Harry on the Quidditch pitch.
He was training with the team.
"Harry—"
Andy shouted, "Professor Dumbledore is looking for you!"
Harry swooped over on his Firebolt and asked, bewildered, "Professor Dumbledore is looking for me? He's back?"
"Yes!"
Andy replied matter-of-factly, "Come with us!"
"Er...okay!"
Harry nodded, "I'll let the team know; you guys wait a second."
It was ten minutes later when Harry came back after changing into his regular clothes.
"Let's go!" Harry said.
***
"Andy, when did Professor Dumbledore come back?"
"What did he want with me?"
"Do you know where Professor Dumbledore went before?"
"Why didn't he come back in time?"
"…"
On the way to the castle, Harry kept asking questions like a chatterbox.
Andy was annoyed and could only use the universal 'I don't know' to brush him off.
"Hermione, do you know?" Harry turned to the next person he could ask.
Hermione: "…"
"You can ask Professor Dumbledore," Hermione said flatly.
She was fed up with these boys.
Harry didn't mind Hermione's reply, but he still looked a little confused and worried.
In the past two days, there had been a lot of rumours about Dumbledore at the castle.
Although Harry had been defending Dumbledore all along, he had heard so many rumours that sometimes even he couldn't help but doubt whether Dumbledore was really deliberately letting Voldemort get away so easily.
Why hadn't he shown up?
What could be more important than defeating Voldemort?
Harry had so many doubts.
On the way to the seventh floor of the castle, Harry, who had been silent most of the way, finally couldn't hold back any longer and asked, "Andy, can't we just go to the Headmaster's office without going up all the way to the seventh floor?"
"The Headmaster is not in the castle," replied Andy.
Harry: "…"
He took two silent steps backward, quickly pulled out his wand, and pointed it at Andy and Hermione. He shouted in a deep voice, "Who are you? What happened to Andy and Hermione?"
Harry remembered!
Andy had told him before that Voldemort might send Death Eaters to infiltrate the castle and kill him.
He had been on alert for several days.
Looking at the two people in front of him, Harry instantly became alert.
They were most likely not Andy and Hermione!
Andy: "..."
Hermione: "..."
"Good vigilance,"
Andy chuckled, "And you were able to pull out your wand right away... Harry, you're much sharper than you were a few years ago."
"Who the hell are you!?" Harry shouted.
He hoped that his voice would attract more people.
"Andy, stop playing around!"
Hermione groaned with a headache. "Harry, we are us. He is Andy; I am Hermione! No one is impersonating us."
Harry stared at the two people in front of him. "How can you prove it?"
Hermione: "…"
Do I have to prove it to you? That I am me?
"This time it is a secret operation..."
Andy looked at Harry and said slowly, "I've made the arrangements. No matter how loudly you shout, no one will hear you."
"Andy, that's enough!" Hermione said breathlessly.
If you put it that way, Harry will only misunderstand more, won't he?
Sure enough, after hearing Andy's words, Harry's face became extremely solemn.
He first looked around subtly, looking for possible escape routes, and then quickly raised his wand and pointed it at Andy, shouting, "Expelliarmus!"
A red flash of light flashed.
Bang!
A faint white light appeared in front of Andy, and the Disarming Charm was instantly bounced back. Harry fell backwards, and his wand flew into Andy's hands.
"First of all, Harry, I don't have my wand, so you shouldn't have used the Disarming Charm on me."
Andy looked at the fallen Harry and pointed out, "You should have used the Stunning Spell or the Full Body-Bind Curse, or even the more lethal Exploding Charm."
After saying that, Andy waved the wand and summoned the Fat Cat Patronus.
"Nothing can prove my identity better than the Patronus Charm," Andy said.
Harry's expression softened at the sight of Andy's fat cat Patronus.
Indeed, it was hard to impersonate a Patronus.
Then, Harry murmured with some dissatisfaction, "Andy, why did you... You could have just summoned the Patronus."
"There's an operation up ahead,"
Andy tossed the wand to Harry and said, "Before that, I need to test your reaction and strength."
Hearing the word 'operation', Harry's dissatisfaction disappeared. He looked at Andy with excitement on his face, "What operation? And...did I pass the test?"
Well...it's hard to say.
In Andy's current opinion, Harry's magical attainments were simply a joke and not even worth mentioning.
But you can't judge Harry purely on his magical attainments.
Especially when facing Voldemort.
Nevertheless, Harry's vigilance was quite good.
"Let's go! We can discuss it when we get there," said Andy.
"Okay!" Harry nodded without hesitation.
Hermione looked at Andy with a complex expression.
On the one hand, if you were to say that he was reliable, he could really infuriate people sometimes. But if you were to say that he wasn't reliable, in the end, he could always make people feel at ease.
"What are you thinking about?"
Seeing that Hermione was still looking at him, Andy reached out and rubbed her head. "Let's go."
Hermione puffed up her cheeks. "Sometimes I really want to smash you."
"Anytime," Andy grinned, raising an eyebrow.
Harry: "…"
"Andy, I'm still here," Harry reminded him.
"I know you are..."
Andy sighed and said seriously, "Let's go!"
