Not to mention they're running some cracked scrambling tech , And that " Terry hissed , Planting his finger into the surface of the table " That goddamn scrambling tech wouldn't so much as allow me to see their face ... looking at them , I felt like I was staring a fucking TV static "
" That ... " The captain squinted, Leaning back into his chair and Rubbing his chin " Would certainly explain this "
The captain reached down , Turning over the datapad for Terry to see.
" That's... " Terry stared down at a frame captured from a camera.
" The same hospital decard was held at moments after you guys left ... notice anything " The frame was a still of the front desk , Where Sebastian and the receptionist were speaking .
There infront of the reception on camera, Was a pitch black smudge on the frame , Like the camera simply wasn't able to glimpse what was present .
" Is that ... what you saw " The captain asked , Staring at Terry intently , Eyes alight with purpose , A quiet desire for confirmation .
" Yea ... that's exactly what I saw , It actually hurt to lookat it ... even now seeing this " Terry rubbed his eyes , Looking away from the screen just as his head began to ache .
" That is " The captain turned to the blank one way window to the left , Looking to where he knew the presiding investigator was .
" Unforntunate ... "
" Why " Terry asked , Looking towards his captain for answers , hands Curling into whitened knuckles.
" This investigation is no longer in our hands" Terry's captain sighed , Standing up whilst picking up the files he had previously placed on the desk between them " You are cleared to return to duty immediately "
" Of course " Terry looked down between his legs , hands hung , clenched into fists .
His captain stepped out of the room , Moving into the observation room on the other side of the one way window .
" I want them watched " Alexandr all but ordered to Terry's captain, he had seen this phenomenon before , but only once " I don't care if you need to get someone into the aldecaldos ... for that person to act .. there's something here we don't know about ... and we must figure it out "

Hutch stared around sceptically , Looking over his shoulder at the other aldecaldo's as he headed into his surgery , the flaps to the trailer he was set up in settling after his passing through.
" There he is " Hutch adjusted his glasses , subtly looking towards the body propped for emergency surgery.
" You know " Hutch settled down beside decards body , Squinting at the corpse , Noticing the lack of any chest movement " I'm still not entirely convinced this isn't a hallucination "
If he didn't know better he would have e thought the immobile body on his operating table was deceased . And he did , whether it was the fact the body's heart still beat , Or the fact the brain still registered activity , They knew ... somehow , this bastard still stubbornly clung to life .
" We've scrounged up what we need , you'll be propped for surgery soon " He wasn't sure if the body could hear him , Infact he doubted it . But he still hoped it gave some kind of comfort for the soon to be patient .
' Poor bastard ' Hutch turned to his datapad , Looking at the impressive catalogue of neural ware housed in decards head.
" You're a real thinker aren't you . All this ware to boost your brain capacity " Hutch joked as he continued to go through the brain scans , Somewhat impressed by the amount of data still being processed .
The tent flaps burst open , Three aldecaldods walking in carrying boxes of second hand cyberware.
" Just place them down there " Hutch pointed next to the surgery table , The aldecaldos doing as was requested .
" Thank you ... I'll need some privacy for what comes next " Hutch guided the aldecaldo's out , Lowering black screen over the entrance and closing the windows .
" Time to begin the surgery "

Piece by piece , The charred flesh was removed from the body witb great care and precision, The burnt chunks being discarded into a box to the side .
The smell was atrocious, angry red muscle being revealed underneath , Much having been destroyed by the melting due to heat which meant much of the muscle fibres would have to be removed as well .
Hutch didn't take all of the burnt tissue off at once , Instead he focussed solely on specific portions of the body. Starting with the head.
" Fuck " Hutch dropped the burnt flesh of decards scalp to the side , The hair follicles long since destroyed .
The face followed after , Leaving the muscle fibres bare to open air , no doubt an excruciating experience for decard had he been awake .
" Let's get you your new face my friend " Hutch cringed as he slowly peeled off the skin around the ears , Neck and the back of the head .
He didn't look at the empty eye sockets , He refused to not until he would he installing the new optics ... staring at that featureless face gave him goosebumps at the best of times .. but decard was his patient and he would do right by him .
Taking great care , Decard began to saw off the frontal facial structure , Making room for the face plate that would be placed over the top , Not decards origional but it would allow for modification to become as close to the origional as possible.
Right now however, Holding the faceplate in hand , Hutch dared to look at the previously organic face of decard , Seeing the inside of decards face , The front of his cranium where he would be installing the port the plate would sit on.
" Such cruelty "Hutch held his breath , Raising the hub and beginning to mount it in place with as much care as he could afford .
The merve ending followed after , being installed and merged with the hub before finally came the faceplate .
" Feels like I'm operating on a joy toy " Hutch joked to himself as he settled the new face plate into place , Checking the integration to make sure the cyberware was accepted by decards body .
" Good ... didn't want to have to do that again " The face plate settled on seamlessly. The only tell being the fact that the rest of the head was still and angry red colour thanks to the burnt muscle fibres exposed to the air of the clinic .
" We are ... we got you some kiroshi optics ... the best we could get ya " Hutch gave a wavering smile despite knowing decard couldn't hear or see him.
" Here ... " One connection at a time , Hutchs fingers reached in to decards eye sockets , Plugging the newly repaired ports the optics would be connecting to , plugging the optics into their port before sliding the right optic into place , A wet squelch heard as the eye now sat in the socket .
" One of two ... let's get this second one in " Hutch completely missed the fact that the one installed optics was already moving , Analysing and scanning Hutch with deep scrutiny .
' An unfavourable subject ' And so the thing chose to remain inert , maybe the new cyberware could suffice , perhaps better than its previously mostly organic body.
By the time Hutch finished installing the second optic , The thing in decard had gone dormant , Standing by until the end of the surgery .
" Fuck me " Hutch sighed , Having completed the face , Accidently nudging the nub where decards arm had previously been.
" Just gotta get you new audio recievers in and then we cam patch up the skin and give ya some hair ... " And he did exactly that , For another twenty minutes he installed a new set of ears , Followed by a synthetic skin installation and hair follicles being inserted into the synth skin ontop of the head .
" There ya go ... now ya can atleast look like a person again " Hutch sat back , Staring at his work on decards finished head.
" The only thing we have remaining at the moment is a new arm for ya mate ... I know ya can't hear me but I'm particularly proud of this one " He pulled our an incredibly armoured, High tech prosthetic that many in night city wouldn't hesitate to teat their own arms off for " Came from a decommish dragoon we got our hands on a while back couldn't keep it cus of those fucking scavs but we still kept some of it ... unfortunately we don't really like cyberware that much so we never really got any use for it ... know you'll put it to good use "
For another two hours , The arm was slowly installed , the connectors slowly installed into decards skeletal system , Neural pathways created to link to the dragoons own hardware.
With everything they could get for the moment installed. Hutch raised the black shutter , Coming face to face with Saul.
" Howd it go " Saul walked in to gaze apon decard , his lips chewing slightly " Couldn't get it all done "
" Still need a whole lot of synth skin and muscle fibres ... panam and the others headed out to see what they could get ... but for now ... it's the best we could do " Hutch raised the shutter on his window .
" Alright ... we set him up a tent for the meantime ... could you make sure he gets there well " Saul pulled back to the entrance of Hutchs trailer , Somewhat satisfied by the results.
" Sure can do ... was planning to keep him in here but if that's what you want then can't argue with that " Hutch turned back to decard , With Saul leaving not several seconds later " Looks like you got a place here now friend ... "

A van pulled to a stop several blocks away from red rippers , Pulling into an abandoned warehouse - away from any attention they didn't want.
" Whats the sitch "opening the side doors , Two FIA members stepped out of the van ,walking to a third standing infront of a hastily set up computer system.
" Quick in and out, Need you to plant this " The man standing infront of thr computer began , Pulling out a remotely controlled link , A small hand held device that could be left on any surface " in red rippers , It'll get us into their subnet , Get us everything we need "
The two FIA agents , Moving up in the ranks , Not quite veterans but renoun enough the FIA believed they could place their trust in their capabilities , One male one female .
Their identification were as follows :
Alexi brown , Male , 37 , Born amd raised in Washington from a young age , Brought into the FIA after showing exceptional talent in the local militia .
Silica Davis., Female , 29 , born and raised on the east coast before moving to flora during her teens, poached from her school after a rebellious streak lead to her breaking into the local authorities subnet and successfully altering her friends files to save them from a drug bust , Just happened to be the friend was already being watched , And the altering of the files for unrelated reasoned was picked up by FIA agents who investigated.
" Doesn't seem too difficult... couldn't get a local to do it " Alexi asked , Taking the hand held remote link , Turning it over in his hand.
" Too risky ... red rippers has an almost unheard of amount for good will amongst the locals ... didn't want to risk it " The overseers responded , he , nearly 50 years old , recruited at the age of 21 from florida , He spend most of his kater life doing nothing but working diligently for the FIA , His name was scrubbed from any official database , A ghost.
He stared at the feed of red rippers captured by a remotely set up camera , Fingers Rubbing his chin as he sat back and observed from a distance .
" So just planting this , no neutralising anyone ... no stealing anything " Alexi continued to ask whilst silica chose to reaming silent.
" That's it ... then you get out and go back to your previous op ... " The overseer responded , The netrunning helmet they wore hiding their features from any observers.
" Alright how do we go about this " Alexi sat down on a readily available crate , Silica doing the same whilst overseer simply shrugged.
" personally , I'd recommend going in rising as a couple . They don't usually do online reservations so you'll have to go in and request an appointment... with any luck you'll be able to get in today ... if not ... this ops time frame is extended until you do " Overseer sent them a dosia compiled of two individuals.
" These are the two most sighted employees of red rippers , remember their faces , Do not fuck up ... the FIA has alot riding on this ... " Overseer turned back to the feed , Seeing a convoy of Sixth Street driving around the premises.
" Alright ... anything else we should no before proceeding " Silica asked whilst alexi combed over the send files , Humming in thought .
" Apart from a heavy sixth street presence... and some local edgerunners looming about... nothing I can think of ... " Overseer leant forward , Seeing a group of civilians walking into the clinic for their appointment .
" Alright ... think we've got an angle that can work " Alexi turned to silica and motioned with his head , The two of them leaving overseer to his monitoring .

" I thought you decommissioned that " Benjamin froze as he walked into Sebastian's laboratory seeing a display of the RAR that had been dwstroyed after its initial use , Sebastian himself was not staring at the screen, Rather something in his hand .
" Oh I did ... thing was " Sebastian held the ball like object in his hand , Rotating it so he could see it from all angles " It was unstable , merely in its infancy ... a premature creation I hadn't yet had the chance to tinker with .. Now though "
The MR activated in his chest , Grabbing onto the orb in his hand as he pushed the ball to hover some metres away where a pile of scrap sat in the corner of the lab.
The orb , A reflective pitch black colour , Began to shift like the surface of the water.
" It is complete " Benjamin was completely enraptured by what occurred next. The ripples on the orb suddenly leapt from its surface , Tentacle like black feelers reaching from the orb towards the scrap pile.
" What is that ... I've never seen this before " To Benjamin it appeared to just be oil like water that reached for the scrap, Touching the first piece it could , Gripping it and pulling the broken pad straight into the orb where it simply vanished , Compressed before their eyes .
" Its not water ... it's thousands ... millions of nanobots surrounding the main hub " The orb visibly swelled in size, using the deconstructed pad to create nearly twice as many nanobots that now circulated around the RAR's central hub.
" That should be enough ... now observe " under his fine control , The RAR manipulated the nanobots under its control , The millions of nanobots surging forward and Sinking into two old NEW HOPE initial test bots , No longer needing to he used so they were repurposed .
Under Benjamin's intense gaze , The nanobots ate away at the machines , each one taking a microscopic piece of the robot back to the hub where the magic really happened .
To turn an atom into another required something greater than simply moving atomic bonds ... to turn metal into another material needed something far more intrusive than simple alterations.
And so sebastian dove further than what Benjamin would ever conceive possible .
The hub , Not a fraction of the size of the origional RAR , used a series of MR like devices within its core , Hyper fine tuned to isolate protons themselves by manipulating their magnetic fields .
Elements were dictated by the amount of protons circulating its nucleus . And so the RAR was created to isolate and reassign protons , increasing or decreasing the amount of protons found circulating the nucleus - Giving birth to new elements in an instant .
Water could be turned to sand , oxygen to nitrogen. Stone could he converted to steel .
Once the new element was created , The RAR would construct said elements into new material and ejected from the core , the same nanobot would move to the exit vent of the central hub , taking the newly processed material and moving towards its new assignment.
Before Benjamin's gaze , He watched the cloud of nanobots carrying the processed materials converge on the nearby tabletop, quickly piecing each and every newly processed material and fusing then together , Altering the materials in real time to fit the schematics they were instructed to produce.
Not ten seconds after the process began , A brand new working datapad sat on the surface of the table, Already ready for use. A sleeker unreleased design with faster processing and larger storage .
The datapad differed significantly from others. The majority of the datapad was a see through touch screen about the size of an A4 piece of paper . The main components that made the datapad work were found on the right of the screen no larger than a thumb drive , Holding everything from its central processor to the chip assistant connected to . All housed within a hub smaller than Benjamin's thumb.
" There you go ... All yours ... it's already connected to the sub net with ASSISTANT residing within to help with matters " Benjamin reached out and took the datapad , light enough to be half the weight of his previous one with it being majority just a see through screen .
" This is going to take some getting used to " The new datapad cloned the data of his old one automatically , Already displaying the same contents of his previous one.
Meanwhile , As Benjamin began to tinker with his new datapad , Sebastian called the new RAR to his hand , The cloud of nanobots joining together arpund its circular core , returning to being a simple glistening orb , only a third larger than its previous size .
' Now for secure storage ' He pulled a black case from the side of his desk , Opening it to reveal a cushioned inside perfectly shaped for the prime to sit in with no room to spare.
Placing the palm sized orb into the case , Sebastian closed the case , locking it with biometric security and a series of codes only accessibky by his neural ware. If anyone failed to inject the right codes into the lock , The RAR within would promptly devour itself , using its own materials to he converted into a make shift bomb which would immediately detonate upon conversion.
" What do you plan to do with it " Benjamin paused , Seeing Sebastian leaning back into his chair and admiring the high tech case from a distance.
" Well ... I think ... with the FIA , MILITECH and ARASAKA wanting to get into our systems and no doubt my lab ... I think it's time I relocated my lab somewhere else ... This can remain a decoy for now " Assistant then projected a display of new-hope and the surrounding buildings .
The grid then levelled out , the ground beneath then turning transparent to show the sub grid of night city below their building .
" What is the purpose of showing me this " Benjamin asked only for sebastian to hold up his hand in a waiting gesture.
" The RAR while it does have potential military use .. holds even further terraforming potential ... stone can be turned to metal in an instant . Metal can be turned into dirt or seeds with predetermined fauna data installed . The RAR holds the possibility to charge the very environment around it at the atomic level ... and so " He turned Benjamin's gaze to the hologram were a blueprint began to form .
Under new hope an elevator shaft and several maintenance shafts dove into the surface below new hope , Opening up into a 100 metre wide chamber the shape of a silo .
" That. .. " Sebastian gestured to the base of the silo where a large amount of water was displayed , branching out from the silo was a large grid , Seven large chambers that would inevitably be Sebastian's laboratory.
Under the silo was simply labelled as the generator room , Which was in all actuality a nuclear reactor that would be installed under the silo .
" Whats the silo for " Benjamin looked closely at the laboratory sebastian planned to build, Seeing several vents lining the circumference of the silos top and bottom . The elevator itself came from the top of the silo all the way down to the base , With structural supports making sure it wouldn't have structural issues.
" The lab its vacuum sealed , Double reinforcements sealing the rest of the lab from the silo itself " a simulation began to play , The vents lining the top of the silo began to fill with copious amount of water drawn in from the nearby harbour .
Before their eyes , The silo simulation displayed that the silo would be completely submerged under water, Sealing off the entrance to the lab completely while Sebastian was either inside or off sight.
" The water will be Churning at a scalding temperature of 100 ° minimum ... the reactor below will channel cold water from the harbour and vent the hot water produced from the core and cycle it into the silo ... hence the scolding temperature ... it is none fissile so it is relatively harmless . When the silo is empty the hot water will be sent directly into a cooling reservoir and recycled. The components of the lab will also be able to comfortably withstand the pressure and temperature of the full silo .mm with backups unplaced should they fail . What do you think " Sebastian explained , The need for defences were minimal even to Benjamin's observations , With point security bots stationed around the lab , The silo itself would deter if not make breaking into the lab an impossibility . Even the water channelled through the harbour was first sent through a high pressure channel, Boiled ... sent through heavy filtration, scanned for irregularities before being sent into the silo for filling and use .
" I think you may have just designed the most secure lab I've ever seen ... apart from those ones in orbit of course " Benjamin complimented the design, he personally didn't see why there was such need for such versatile security measures but he also understood Sebastian's stance .
" Very good ... " Sebastian flashed a small smile , Turning to the case of the RAR . Uploading the initial schematics into the hub of the RAR , Sebastian picked up the case and walked to the lab entrance " It is imperative that we begin immediately... come "
They walked through the bowels of the NEW HOPE building, walking through the service tunnels to avoid being seen by anyone that wasn't them two or assistant .
" Here we are " Sebastian came to a stop infront of a utility door that didn't lead anywhere but a closet .
" This will do ... out of the way enough , We can repurpose the nearby halls into a suitable entrance in due time ... however for now " Sebastian leant down , unlocking the case to the RAR .
" Do we need anyone to observe it during ... " Benjamin asked, hoping to be somewhat helpful to his employer.
" Not at all , Though the maintenance shafts will be shut down and two of our bots will be posted as security. The RAR will however complete construction to its exact specifications... it knows what it's doing ... I will however check up on it every couple of ours just to make sure things are on track " Pulling the new RAR and placing it down onto the floor of the interior of the utility closet.
[ initiate ] Immediately after , The surface if the RAR rippled. Its surface Splitting as the cloud of nanites surged and devoured both the floor , utility supplies and everything else present , quickly Tearing into the ground below whilst a new elevator frame was hastily constructed.
" Well ... I'm reassigning our bots to secure this maintenance hall now ... " Not ten seconds later , The ape like bots crawled into the maintenance tunnel. Hiding in the shadows of the hall in order not to draw attention .
" That shall do for now ... I'll be back in a couple of hours " A screech echoed from within the utility shaft as the RAR churned down into the ground , at the same time the ceiling was torn apart by a metallic shroud whilst also printing out a high tech elevator shaft all in one go .
[ Estimated completion time ... 52 hours given current nanobot count - Increase nanobot count to reduce time ]
" I'll continue onsight observations ... Is there anything you wish to be done about Reed or the other one " Benjamin asked , having already noted several attempts to break into the subnet from ARASAKA'S spy.
" There's no need " Sebastian closed the utility closet door a nearly complete elevator already formed where the utility closet had previously been " I'll be relocating our more ... important data into our lab below once it is completed ... when our new datafortress is complete "
" I'll leave you to it then my friend " Sebastian pet Benjamin on the shoulder as he walked by , Exiting the maintenance tunnel before heading towards the main elevator to the hanger , where his AV was propping for departure.
...3 HOURS LATER ...
Walking down the sidewall, alexi amd silica walked hand in hand , silica's head resting on his shoulder as they kept a regular pace towards the clinic .
" What do you think " Silica whispered , Holding Alexis arm as the rounded the corner, Seeing down the road where sixth street cars sat out the front if the clinic .
" Aso long as we aren't stupid ... we'll be fine " Alexi whispered back, sending and reviewing reports to and from overseer as they approached .
They approached slowly , making sure to seem cautious yet hopefully , keeping their heads down apon reaching the ten metres mark from the clinic .
" I don't like the look of this " He could feel her hands gently clench tighter around his own hand , Eyeing the six street gang members loitering around the entrance for the clinic , the gang members staring them down with great scrutiny.
[ keep calm] They both recieved the same message as they approached the front doors of the clinic [ Stay on track ]
[ Don't worry about us ] Alexi replied as a pleasant chime sounded from the door as it opened , a blast of airconditioned air striking them as they stepped into the lobby .
[ edge runners spotted ] Alexi scanned pilar and Maine, Both individuals playing cards in the corner of the clinic , paying them no attention whilst alexi and silica walked to the front desk .
" Hello " Tekeyoshi smiled brightly at the two , Whilst alexi realised the boy before them was one of the two recorded common employees for red rippers " What can I assist you with this pleasant day my friends "
" We need a consultation... " Silica was the first to speak , Tekeyoshi's smile remaining the same as she began to speak on about how her cyberware in her stomach was flaring up with pain , Twitching under the skin and causing several issues with her nervous system .
" Ah a simple matter . Please take a seat , You will be called apon shortly ... but before that... may I have a name " Tekeyoshi leant up slightly, needing their details to approve the consultation.
" Cassidy banks ... " She provided her fake ID , Tekeyoshi Nodding and settling back down , Clicking on his computer for a moment before nodding.
" There you go , You'll be called apon shortly once our ... doctor ... is ready " Tekeyoshi turned back to what he was doing , scrolling through several documents he was to complete .
Alexi and silica walked to a pair of open chairs , Facing away from the camera in the corner of the room , Facing where Maine and pilar were still playing.
" You fucker" Maine slammed down his cards " I know you're fucking cheating I ain't paying shit "
Pilar laughed and held his hand out " You can't prove shit gimme my scratch "
" Fuck youuu " Maine huffed , crossed his arms but none the less transferred the eddies , All the while alexi and silica watched on subtly .
[ Identity confirmed. Subject dosia ..Maine Stephan's... home town Maine - Portland - Confirmed edgerunner ] Overseer sent the details of the larger one , shortly receiving pilars details immediately after .
' Let's not draw their attention ' Alexi broke into small talk with silica, Subtly eyeing the rest of the clinic and a few other patients happily waiting around.
For half an hour they sat. No patient being accepted into or out of the clinic , yet the patrons seemed happy to simply be there much to Alexi's confusion .
Just as he was about to enquire about their status , The clinic door slid open , And both FIA agents froze momentarily at whom stepped out of the clinic with the ripperdoc .
[ We have a major problem ] The message was met by an immediate follow through [ Sebastian markus is on sight... what's the plan ]
Leaning back in his chair in the warehouse , overseer froze , Watching through Alexis optics as he too saw Sebastian Conversing with the ripper doc .
" What the fuck ... Sebastian markus was reportedly at NEW HOPE not ten minutes ago ... " Overseer quickly informed the higher ups but instructed alexi and silica to continue on " Remain low key ... but get it done "
Back in the clinic , Alexi and silica lowered their gazes , talking to eachother nonchalantly as sebastian walked to the front desk .
" You're doing good work tek ... I've sent through a package with this year's curriculum... I'll be back to pick you up later " Sebastian reached over and pet tekeyoshi on the head , The boy preening at the attention " Now I must go ... keep up the good work "
Sebastian turned to leave , And that's when alexi made the mistake .
Alexi , Not knowing exactly what Sebastian's capabilities were , Raised his gaze to Sebastian's eyes , Thiae orange optics staring into his own for a single glancing second before the founder continued on , Not knowing that his cover and his team had been blown the moment Sebastian's optics had layed eyes on him , Seeing the network traffic to and from alexi , the red key breaking into and downloading all recent activity within the span of a second .
And as sebastian walked to the clinics exit , He turned , making eye contact with alexi for a moment , enough to wire a direct message to the boys and RN01 neural ware at that same moment .
' I'll need to organise transport for tekeyoshi and Victoria... they've been compromised '

For the next twenty minutes , alexi and silica moved under the assumption that they hadn't been found out , Sitting and chatting away before finally it was their turn.
" The doctor will see you now " Tekeyoshi called out their names , the two rising , Bidding the boy well before walking through and into the clinic.
Walking into the surgery room , They were greeted with the sight of the sterilised room , The desk and computer situated in the far corner . The surgery chair at the centre of the room with cabinets situated periodically around.
" Please have a seat " RN01 motioned for silica to sit in the surgery chair , Already diagnosing her " I've scanned your cyberware , We are ready for surgery presently ... and please ... "
RN01 turned to alexi " Have a seat while we wait "
This was the prime opportunity, With RN01's back turned , alexi pulled the device out of his pocket , with silica drawing the docs attention .
Overseer momentarily created a loop in the footage of the camera above. Allowing for alexi to reached across and silently plant the remote connection device under the desk where it wouldn't be easily discovered .

" Overseer how goes things on your end " Alexi whispered , Receiving a reply Not too long after .
" Peachy ... now return " Overseer gave no further responses as they made their way back to the warehouse , The duo stopping outside its front for a split moment.

Sat in his chair , The overseer was slunk over , Unresponsive as sparks blew from his cyberware occasionally .
Rushing over , Alexi felt for his vitals , Cursing as he felt nothing .
" Pack up everything , We have to delta the fuck out now " Alexi hissed , Grabbing the overseer and dragging him towards the nearby open van .
" On it " silica grabbed everything she could , The laptop , The hard drives and even the chair with her off hand , Dragging everything to the van where alexy tossed the overseer.

Alexy grabbed the door to the van , Silica about to do the same just as a series of flash lights turned on from all directions.
" Well I'll fucking be ... kid was right on it " Noah miles , An African American sixth street gang member stepped up , The selected guard head for red rippers for the day , His little group flanking the FIA agents and blocking all potential exits .
" Now now I'm sure there's been some kind of misunderstanding " Alexy began , raising his hand only for him to be shot in the shoulder , Falling back into the ground.
" No ... I don't think so ... You see " Noah walked forward, Silica reaching for her fire arm again only to be knocked to the ground by a sixth street whom appeared behind her thanks to his sandy, Falling unconscious as a daemon broke through her ice and knocked her out .
" I think you left this in the clinic " Noah held up the hand held remote link , Tossing it from hand to hand " You think you're the first to do so , you're just one in a long line of those who have tried ... so "

With the FIA snooping around , Sebastian put his plans to take Victoria out of night city for a nice time on hold .
" Are you sure you're okay with remaining here " Sebastian settled down on the bed provided for tekeyoshi , Having relocated the boy from his apartment at the end of his work day and moved him into a room in new hope .
He would be exempt from work until the all clear was given , he couldn't have the boy be in danger , He wouldn't allow it .
" Can I... see my friends while I'm here " Tekeyoshi looked down , Not particularly liking the cold feeling the room gave him , Yet accepting the situation for what it was .
" Tell ya what ... " Sebastian gently pet tekeyoshi on the back " You can invite your friends into the tower as often and for as long as you like , we'll set up a gaming room for you in here ... sound good "
" Really " Tekeyoshi beamed up , Looking hopefully up to his benefactors eyes with all the trust a child could muster .
" Really really ... go on ... why don't you Invite em here now while I head out to check on Victoria " Tekeyoshi bounced up and did just that " I'll set up an AV transport for you and your friends ... "
Sebastian rose and left tekeyoshi to his activities , The boy already making plans for his rooms furnishings that would be handled by RN02 .

Approaching his apartment , Sebastian had his AV land out the back of the building , a squad of the newly upgraded NEW HOPE bots marching beside him as he walked around the building to the front entrance.
" Guard the entrance " Sebastian barked out , marching through the lobby and into the stairwell , Rising to his level whilst maintaining vigilance.
" whats up bossman " Rebecca joked , taking on Tekeyoshi's mannerisms for the moment as sebastian rose to her level.
" With me Rebecca, Need to inform you and your crew about something " Sebastian said nothing else , Returning to the flight of stairs and heading for his own level .
" Wha ... fuck ... WAIT UP " The short girl rose , Rushing after the man whom had once intimidated her as he landed on his level and marched into his apartment without so much as a knock .
" Heyyyy " Victoria at up , Having been lounging on the couch with her clothes strewn about . However seeing the serious look on Sebastian's face , all humour fled her features " Whats up "
" We've been compromised . FIA has files about both you and tekeyoshi . I'm relocating you to new-hope until things either calm down or come to a head . You'll have a guard around you at all times when not in the tower ... one of my own ... is that okay with you " Sebastian rounded the couch and leant down to Victoria, Running a hand over her cheek as he studied her features , Having greatly missed her presence.
" Can I pack my stuff first " Victoria whispered , Leaning into his touch , stretching momentarily before stiffling a yawn.
" Of course , take your time ... our AV is put the back " Sebastian leant forward and captured victorias lips with his own for several seconds.
Leaning back , Sebastian turned his attention back to Rebecca whom was standing awkwardly in the doorway.
" Rebecca , you , Maine and the crew have been identified by the FIA as persons of interest relating to my case . Keep vigilant and don't go anywhere alone ... I want you and the others to come by the clinic for an update to ensure your safety and my security. .. go ... NOW " His patience was running thin , His voice deepening exponentially as he ordered her to relay his orders , The girl turning and Fleeing, Moving to inform the rest of the crew as sebastian sighed .
" Fucking FIA " Sebastian sighed , Turning around and sitting on the ground. Leaning his back onto the couch as Victoria slunk her arms around his front.
" It'll be okay ... " Victoria whispered , gently kissing the side of his head whilst her left hand rose and began to rub his temple .
" I know ... I just want you and tek safe ... but we'll deal with what comes when it arrives " Sebastian smiled , Looking at Victoria from the corner of his eye .
