"What! Gabriel's missing?"
"Yes! He was missing according to his personal assistant, who is now here in my shop! What did you do to him, Raphael? Tell me! What did you do to him?"
I could feel all my veins throbbing and bulging right out of my skin as I firmly gripped my phone. My mind was in complete chaos. All I am thinking now was Gabriel and his unknown whereabouts. I am in a state of tremendous panic that my body becomes numb and restless all of sudden, knowing that something terrible must have happened to Gabriel. He was mentally not well and the least thing I wanted right now was for him to be caught in some kind of danger. We may not be getting along well, but never did I wish ill things to come upon him.
"He must just be elsewhere, Maria. Certainly there must be a reason why he disappeared suddenly. I swear! I left him on his own at the restaurant where we met. Staff there can vouch my statement. Wait! You think I had something to do with his disappearance, did you?"
