"Miss Ruby, those are our newest models," the salesperson said politely, leading her toward a row of smooth, shining vehicles. "They arrived just this week. This one here—" she pointed to a sleek silver-blue car, "—flies smoothly through the sky. Very popular in the city these days."
Ruby gave a small nod but didn't seem too interested in the flashy one.
Her eyes were on something else.
A simple black car parked a little to the side. Its design was clean and slightly old-fashioned...round headlights, silver handles, and curved edges that gave it a quiet, elegant charm. It wasn't glowing or polished to sparkle, but it looked strong and sturdy.
Unlike the others meant for high-speed sky gliding, this one was clearly built for low-altitude flying and land rides. It looked grounded. Safe.
Ruby walked toward it and placed her hand gently on the side, her fingers brushing over the cool surface. "This one feels right," she said softly.
