What puzzled Uncle Hua was that Mu Keren, who had clearly said she was going out to the bathroom, seemed to have vanished into thin air.
"Waitress, could you please check inside to see if there is a young girl about this tall with bangs cut straight across!"
Having waited at the bathroom door for quite a while and still seeing no sign of Mu Keren, Uncle Hua asked a female waitress to check inside the restroom.
But strangely, the waitress came back out in less than a minute.
"Sir, there's no one in the restroom!"
"No one?" She clearly said she was going to the bathroom, so how could there be no one there?
Could it be…
At that moment, Uncle Hua's instinct was to go out and look for Mu Keren by car.
But when he reached into his pocket for the car keys...
The car keys, too, were gone!
Had he absentmindedly placed them on the dinner table, or had Keren taken them?
Uncle Hua couldn't think of an answer at that moment.
