And so a new chapter of the story began.
I had two moms and became an average human kid. I went to school, entered the classroom, and had to carefully manage my pocket money.
To me, though, city kids weren't any more worth hanging out with than those at the orphanage. The rules of the orphanage were crude, but at least I could grasp them; it all came down to who had the hardest fists, who could take a hit.
The city was different; I couldn't find many clear rules, everything was hidden beneath the surface. If anything, the power and money of one's family seemed to be a sort of racetrack, but that was just too boring. I might get involved if it was about who could produce smellier shit.
