Hearing that, the other men looked at the guy who had agreed to Penny's requests. The latter drew a deep breath and looked back at them, his lips drawn into a thin line. But before he could answer, his eyes drifted to where Shawn was standing.
Shawn maintained a safe distance from them, slightly cautious. When he met the man's eyes, a shallow breath slipped past his nostrils.
"We are also in a hurry," he said. "But this is no waste of time."
"I'll finish this quick," Penny said without looking in their direction, stitching Hugo's wound first. "Besides, I'm waiting for my brother to call me once he's inside. He's going to call soon."
Penny then paused mid-stitch and lifted her sharp eyes to where Mint was. "Shawn, check Mint's pockets. She surely has a radio with her… unless you guys threw it away."
"No," one of the men answered. "We checked, and she doesn't have one."
