Chapter 1 - Wrath of Zeus

The skies grew dark as Zeus, king of the gods, gazed out upon the mortal realm. His piercing eyes scanned the landscape, searching for any sign of dissent against his divine rule.

His gaze fell upon a small city, nestled in the heart of a verdant valley. The city, known as Elyria, was a place of dark reverence, where the people worshipped Hades, the god of the underworld.

Zeus' face twisted in disgust as he beheld the city's devotion to his brother. He saw it as a sinful affront to his own authority,a challenge to his dominance over the mortal world. The king of the gods would not tolerate such insolence.

Just as Zeus was about to unleash his wrath upon the city, Hermes, the messenger god, appeared before him. Hermes, known for his swiftness and cunning, had been watching the events unfold from afar.

He knew that his father's anger would not be easily swayed, but he felt compelled to try.

"Father, I beg of you, do not unleash your wrath upon the city of Elyria," Hermes pleaded, his voice laced with urgency. "They are but mortals, and their devotion to Hades is but a small affront to your authority."

Zeus' expression remained unyielding, his eyes blazing with fury. "You dare to question my judgment, Hermes?" he thundered. "I am the king of the gods, and I will not be challenged by mortals or gods alike."

Hermes knew that he had to tread carefully, lest he incur his father's wrath. "I do not question your judgment, Father," he said, choosing his words carefully.

"But I implore you to consider the consequences of your actions. The people of Elyria are innocent, and they do not deserve to be punished for their devotion to Hades."

Zeus' expression remained unmoved, his anger and indignation burning brighter with each passing moment. "You would have me show mercy to those who defy me?" he spat. "I think not, Hermes.

The people of Elyria will be taught a lesson, and they will learn to tremble before the power of Zeus."

With that, Zeus raised his hand, and the Olympian army was summoned. The army descended upon Elyria, their armor shining with a light that seemed almost divine.

As the battle raged on, Zeus watched from his throne on Mount Olympus, his eyes blazing with fury.

Hermes, realizing that his pleas had fallen on deaf ears, could only watch in horror as the city of Elyria was reduced to rubble.

The people cowered in terror, their homes and temples destroyed by the wrath of Zeus.

As the dust settled, Zeus unleashed a thunderbolt of unimaginable power, striking the city with a blast of divine energy.

The people of Elyria were scattered and broken, their city left in ruins.

Zeus' thunderbolt had left no doubt as to the king's displeasure. The people of Elyria would never again dare to challenge his authority, and the city would serve as a warning to any who would defy the power of Zeus.

The Olympian army, emboldened by their king's display of power, pressed their advantage, pouring into the city like a tide of divine retribution.

The people of Elyria, realizing too late the error of their ways, could only cower in fear, awaiting the wrath of Zeus.

As the Olympian army poured into the city, their divine retribution seemed unstoppable. But just as all hope seemed lost, a dark and ominous presence emerged from the depths of the underworld. Hades, the god of the dead, had come to the aid of the people of Elyria.

With a wave of his hand, Hades summoned a dark and foreboding barrier around the city, protecting its inhabitants from the wrath of Zeus. The barrier pulsed with a malevolent energy, repelling the Olympian army and holding them at bay.

As the people of Elyria watched in awe, Hades turned his gaze upon his brother, Zeus. The two gods locked eyes, their stares burning with a fierce intensity. For a moment, time itself seemed to stand still, as the two brothers engaged in a silent and unseen struggle.

Then, in an instant, Hades vanished, taking the people of Elyria with him. The city was gone, teleported to a realm beyond the reach of Zeus' wrath. The Olympian army was left standing alone, their quarry escaped.

Zeus' face twisted in rage and frustration, his eyes blazing with fury. He had been thwarted by his brother, and the people of Elyria had been spared his wrath. For now, the king of the gods would have to content himself with plotting his revenge, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

As the dust settled, the Olympian army retreated, their mission failed. The people of Elyria, meanwhile, found themselves in a strange and unfamiliar realm, under the protection of Hades. They knew that they owed their lives to the god of the underworld, and they vowed to never forget his mercy.

As the people of Elyria materialized in the underworld, they found themselves surrounded by a eerie, yet majestic landscape. The air was thick with the scent of smoke and ash, and the sound of distant wailing echoed through the caverns.

Hades, resplendent in his dark, ornate armor, stood before them, his eyes gleaming with a fierce inner light. He raised his hands, and the assembled crowd fell silent, awaiting his words.

"People of Elyria," Hades began, his voice like thunder in the underworld. "I praise your devotion to me, and your bravery in the face of adversity. You have shown that you are willing to stand against the tyranny of Zeus, and for that, I shall reward you."

The people of Elyria looked at each other in wonder, unsure of what to expect. Hades continued, his words dripping with promise.

"I shall give you shelter and accommodations in the underworld, and I shall protect you from the wrath of Zeus. But I shall also offer you something more: the chance to become warriors, to fight against the Olympian gods and to forge your own destiny."

A murmur of excitement ran through the crowd, and many of the people of Elyria stepped forward, volunteering themselves to be trained by Hades.

Hades smiled, his eyes glinting with approval. "Then let us begin," he said. "But first, you must be prepared. You must be made strong."

With a wave of his hand, Hades summoned a group of giant, monstrous creatures, their bodies a mass of writhing, pulsing flesh. The creatures were dragged forward, their veins bulging with a dark, crimson liquid.

"This is the blood of the giants," Hades explained, his voice dripping with reverence. "It holds the power of the Titans, and it shall grant you the strength and the courage you need to face the Olympian gods."

The people of Elyria looked at each other uncertainly, but Hades' words were persuasive. One by one, they stepped forward, and drank from the veins of the giant creatures. As they did, their bodies began to change, their muscles growing stronger, their senses becoming more acute.

They were transformed, remade into warriors, ready to face the challenges of the underworld and the wrath of the Olympian gods. And Hades, watching over them, smiled in approval, knowing that he had created a new generation of heroes, ready to do his bidding.

... .....

Hades, the god of the underworld, stood at the entrance of the labyrinths, his piercing gaze scanning the group of 17 young individuals gathered before him. They were the chosen one, to undergo his rigorous training.

Among them, one young man caught Hades' eye - Aragon, with his striking features and an air of quiet confidence. Hades' gaze lingered on Aragon, his interest piqued.

As the training commenced, Hades led the group through the treacherous paths of the labyrinths, pushing them to their limits. The young recruits were forced to confront their deepest fears, navigate deadly traps, and battle formidable creatures.

Hades watched them with an unyielding gaze, his presence both intimidating and mesmerizing. Aragon, in particular, drew his attention, as the young man demonstrated unwavering determination and unrelenting bravery.

Through the trials and tribulations of the labyrinths, Hades forged the young recruits into formidable warriors, each with their unique strengths and abilities. And Aragon, with his unshakeable resolve, stood out among them, earning Hades' respect and admiration.

As the training neared its end, Hades gathered the group before him once more. His eyes locked onto Aragon, and he spoke in a voice that resonated through the labyrinths:

"You have proven yourselves worthy, each and every one of you. But Aragon, you have shown something more - a spark within that cannot be extinguished. I have a special task in mind for you, one that will require all your strength, courage, and cunning."
