Arya finally heard the level-up notification after killing so many of thrse girthworms.
"It's been around six hours since I entered this dungeon and leveled up nine times. And I finally reached level 20, and I still haven't fought the boss monster."
As Arya hunted non-stop for the past few hours, he killed hundreds of girth worms, gaining both leveling-up stat points and extra free stat points.
"Now I have two hours left before this trial ends. It will take less than one hour to clear this dungeon, I'll still have more than one hour to rest before the next tutorial trial starts. Yeah! Let's proceed like this." Mumbling to himself, Arya started moving.
As he moved he killed a lot more girth worms, using his heightened perception, he finally found the location of the boss monster.
[The Girth Mother Level - 18.]
The regular girth worms were red in color and were around 20-30 feet long, but the boss monster was different. It had deep purple skin and was around 50 feet long, with hundreds of sharp teeth filling its mouth.
As soon as the boss monster saw Arya, it lunged at him to devour him whole.
For a normal person taking the trial, whose levels were around 4-5 due to killing a few zombies in the first round and weak worms on the ground floor, a level 18 monster was beyond their worst nightmare. But Arya, already at level 20 and stronger than a typical level 20, found this monster child's play.
Arya noticed the boss monster coming towards him. He held his sword sideways and lunged at the monster, passing it on the left side. As he moved, he cut the side of the monster from head to tail. Causing a fountain of blood to spew.
"Kweeeeeeeek..!!!"
The boss roared in pain from the long, deep wound. But Arya didn't wait for the monster to recover and started attacking again.
*Slash*
"So, what will you do now?"
*Slash*
"Will you roll over now?"
*Slash*
"That wasn't the smartest choice."
*Slash*
'Not yet.'
'A bit more.'
Arya slashed so rapidly that the boss monster couldn't see where the attacks were coming from. It felt pain everywhere on its body.
"Kiiiii...!"
Soon, the boss monster died from Arya's relentless slashes.

Many message windows started popping up in front of him.

"Spare me, please...!!"
"This isn't right... How can you do this to me knowing I'll die...?!"
In the safe zone, where the gang had already made everyone submit to them by force, they were deciding who would be thrown out next as the next shrinking was about to start.
One of the guys selected to be thrown out was begging the gang boss to spare him.
"Shut up!!" said the boss, kicking the guy in the face.
"Know your place....! Everyone agreed to choose someone else to die in their place!!" he said, continuing to kick the guy.
"That's bullshit...!! You guys decided that on your own!!"
"That's right!! When did we agree to it?"
The people who were chosen to be kicked out from the dome argued over the statement made by the Gang leader.
"Everyone did except you guys!!.... that's why you're selected to be kicked out," the boss said with a grin.
As no one wanted to die, they would do anything to survive. Now, with this statement, people had only two options: agree with him or risk being next.
"Yes... We agreed with them. You didn't."
"Yeah, it's your fault."
One by one, the remaining survivors started joining the gang, cornering the hundred people selected for the next shrinking.
The boss noticed all this and smiled, watching as things played out as he had expected them to be. He then raised his sword and pointed it at those 100 people.
"Now, get out!!..... And don't you dare come back in, because I'll kill you myself if you do! Understood?!"
"B-but there's still some time left before—"
"Ye-yeah....."
"SHUT UP, AND GET LOST YOU C*NTS!!!"
He stopped them from saying anything further and ordered them to leave the safe zone.
With nothing left to do, the people selected to be thrown out went towards the border of the dome and started sprinting with everything the got. As they ran, they were soon attacked by the girth worms.
During this ordeal, many of these hundred died, but some survived by entering buildings, climbing up floors, and hiding.
After those hundred people left, the people inside thought they were now safe and decided to rest. Soon, the time passed and the next shrinking was about to start.

[The three hours have been completed, the safe zone will now shrink.]
After the announcement, a new window showed the maximum number of participants.
[1800/1700]
[Participant count exceeds the limit. Random people will be kicked out.]
"Why.....?"
"But they selected 100 last time... Why 200 now...?!"
Everyone was scared and confused.
Soon the dome's wall turned red and it started shrinking. Everyone who was resting panicked and started sprinting towards the center.
"...argh..?!"
"Wh-why me....ahhh?!"
The People inside started getting thrown out. When these hundred people were finally out, the shrinking stopped.

[The Safe Zone will not shrink.]
"Thank god, I am fine."
"If two hundred people are thrown out this time, will the next time be the same, three hundred or....maybe even four hundred!!"
As everyone thanked their lucky stars for survival, one of the survivors voiced their fear. This scared everyone, gang members and survivors alike.
They didn't know how many would be thrown out next, maybe it would be them.
And like that, two hours passed. The gang selected 300 people this time.
Though everyone was under the gang's control, their numbers were not high, and if others revolted, the gang could easily be defeated and thrown out.
